Allgemeine Hinweise
Montage ist sauber und trocken auszufhren. Kabel muss gerade sein, heizen und ausrichten. Absetzstelle des Aussenmantels, Mantelschnitt festlegen (siehe Zeichnung). Achtung, Schirmdrhte mssen zum gewnschten Anschlusspunkt reichen, mindestens 700 mm. Kabel nur im geraden Zustand schlen. Eine provisorische Schelle auf dem Kabel anbringen, um ein Herabrutschen der Flanschglocke whrend der Montage zu verhindern. Werkseitig vormontierte Flanschglocke in Einzelteilen auf Kabel schieben. Achtung: Reihenfolge der Einzelteile beim Aufschieben beachten. Alle Mae in mm.

General
The assembly should be carried out neatly and in dry conditions. The cable must be straight. Heat and align the cable before the assembly. Determine the point up to where the outer jacket will be cut back (see drawing). Important: the screen wires must reach up to the desired point of connection, minimum length 700 mm. Peel the cable only when it is absolutely straight. Fasten a temporary cable clamp to the cable to prevent the bell flange from slipping down during assembly. Slide the individual components of the factoryassembled bell flange onto the cable, observing the correct sequence of the individual parts. All dimensions are indicated in mm.

1. Provisorische Schelle auf dem Kabel anbringen, 1500 m vom Kabelende.

1. Fasten a temporary cable clamp to the cable at a distance of 1500 mm from the cable end.

2. Flanschglocke in Einzelteilen auf Kabel schieben a berwurfschraubring b Dichthlse c Dichtring d Flanschglocke.

2. Slide the individual components of the bell flange onto the cable: a threaded counter ring b sealing sleeve c gasket ring d bell flange

3. Mantelschnitt festlegen. Achtung: Schirmdrhte mssen mindestens 700 mm lang sein. Erdungspunkt beachten.

3. Determine the jacket cut. Important: The screen wires must be at least 700 mm long. Take earthing point into account..

4. Auenmantel im Schrumpfbereich mit Schmirgel aufrauhen und mit Reinigungsmittel reinigen.

4. Grind the outer jacket in the shrink-on zone with emery and clean it using a cleaning agent.

5. Zwei Lagen Dichtungsband auf den Auenmantel anbringen.

5. Wrap a sealing tape around the outer jacket in two layers.

6. Schirmdrhte einzeln und sauber nebeneinander liegend nach hinten umlegen. Schirmdrhte am Mantelschnitt festklopfen.

6. Fold the screen wires back one by one and place them neatly side by side. Hammer down the folded screen wires firmly where the jacket has been cut.

10. Leiter auf 120 mm abisolieren, Kante der Isolierung brechen (anfassen). Leiterende mit Isolierband berwickeln (Schutzwickel).

10. Strip the conductor over a length of 120 mm and break the end of the insulation to create a slightly bevelled edge. Wrap a bandage of insulating tape around the end of the conductor (protective bandage).

7. Schrumpfschlauch 45 mm vom Mantelschnitt aus aufschrumpfen.

7. Shrink on the heat-shrink tubing at a distance of 45 mm from the jacket cut. 11. Wickel mit Isolierband, klebende Seite nach aussen anbringen, anschliessend zustzliche Leitschicht ab Mantelschnitt mit Silberleitlack (90 mm) gut gemischt einschichtig satt auftragen und gut antrocknen lassen. 11. Wrap a bandage of insulating tape around the conductor (sticky side outwards). Then, starting from the jacket cut, apply an additional semi-conducting layer of silver varnish (90 mm) well mixed and in a single layer and allow to dry well.

8. Ader auf Ma 415 mm von Mantelschnitt aus absgen, nicht schneiden.

8. Measure a length of 415 mm from the jacket cut and saw the conductor off accordingly (do not cut).

9. Verschweite, extrudierte Halbleiterschicht mittels Schneidgert entfernen, (Handhabung des Schneidgertes siehe Gebrauchsanleitung). Beim Schlen mglichst wenig von der weissen Aderisolierung abschlen, jedoch kein schwarzes halbleitendes Material auf der Aderisolierung belassen (eine homogene Oberflche ist notwendig). 9. Anschlieend die Oberflche der geschlten Aderisolierung gut fettfrei in Pfeilrichtung mit Reinigungsmittel reinigen.

9. Remove the extruded fully bonded semi-conducting layer using a cutter (to operate the cutter, see Operating Instructions). While peeling, as little as possible of the white core insulation should be peeled off. No black semi-conducting material should, however, be left on the core insulation (a homogeneous surface must be obtained). 9. Subsequently, clean the surface of the peeled, core insulation in the direction of the arrow using a cleaning agent. Make sure no grease remains on the surface.

Achtung: Nur fr Kabel mit extrudierter abziehbarer Leitschicht oder flexibler Leitungstrosse. Halbleiter 1 Lage 20 mm breit anbringen

Attention: only for cable with extruded easystrip semi-conducting layer or superflexible cable. Wrap one layer of semi-conducting tape around the cable over a width of 20 mm.

12. Wickel entfernen und Aderisolierungen in Pfeilrichtung reinigen und KP Spezialfett auftragen.

12. Remove the bandage and clean the core insulation in the direction of the arrow and grease it with KP Special Grease.

Achtung: Sind alle Steckerteile wie unter Punkt 2 aufgefhrt aufgeschoben!

Important: Make sure that all connector components have been slid onto the cable (see point 2)!

13. Isolier- und Steuerteil innen auf Sauberkeit berprfen und KP-Spezialfett innen auftragen.

13. Check the inside of the insulating and fieldcontrolling part for cleanliness and grease it from inside with KP Special Grease.

14. Das Isolier- und Steuerteil muss mit Vorspannung aufgeschoben werden (Ma 18 mm einhalten). Aufschiebevorrichtung Nr. 827 103 001 kann verwendet werden. Dann Isolierbandwickel (Schutzwickel) entfernen.

14. Push the insulating and field-controlling part with initial stress onto the conductor (observing the dimension of 18 mm). This can be done with the help of the push-on device no. 827 103 001. Now remove the protective bandage.

19. Gerteanschlussteil sowie Isolier- und Steuerteil reinigen und KP Spezialfett auftragen. Hebelzug in Gewindese M12 anlagenseitig anbringen. Seil vom Hebelzug am Kabel unterhalb der Schelle befestigen und mit Hilfe des Hebelzugs das Kabelanschlussteil ohne Flanschglocke in das Gerteanschlussteil einstecken. Sitz des Kabelanschlussteils berprfen (Kontrollmass 608 mm) (sonst Kabel nachdrcken).

19. Clean the bushing and insulating and fieldcontrolling part and grease the two components with KP Special Grease. Hook the ratchet puller into the eyebolt (M12) on the apparatus wall. Tighten the rope of the ratchet puller on the cable below the cable clamp. Insert the separable connector without bell flange into the bushing with the help of the ratchet puller. Check the proper fit of the separable connector with the help of the reference marking of 608 mm. (If need be, press the cable a bit more in).

15. Druckstck sowie Spannkonus auf den Leiter schieben.

15. Slide the thrust piece and tension cone onto the conductor.

16. Kontaktring auf Spannkonus aufschieben, und mittels Schlagkopf fixieren.

16. Slide the contact ring onto the tension cone and fix it using the impact device.

17. Kontaktring mittels Pressenkopf Gr. 4 (Fabrikat PFISTERER) auf Spannkonus aufpressen.

17. Fit the contact ring on the tension cone using the PFISTERER compression head size 4.

18. Kontrollmass 800 mm anbringen.

18. Mark the reference length of 800 mm.

20. Flanschglocke in Richtung Gerteanschlussteil schieben. Schrauben wechselseitig auf Block anziehen.

20. Push the bell flange in the direction of the bushing. Tighten the fixing screws alternately.

21. Dichtring sowie Dichthlse bis zum Anschlag in das Flanschgehuse schieben, berwurfschraubring einschrauben und mit dem Hakenschlssel anziehen. Dann zweieinhalb Umdrehungen nachziehen. 22. Kabel muss befestigt werden (anschellen). 23. Hebelzug erst nach kompletter Montage entfernen.

21. Push the gasket ring and sealing sleeve into the flange housing up to the stop, screw the threaded counter ring in place and tighten it with the hooked wrench. Then complete another two and a half turnings. 22. Fasten the cable (by fixing a cable clamp). 23. Remove the ratchet puller only after the assembly has been completed. 24. Use a compression cable lug to fasten the screen wires to the bell flange.

24. Schirmdrhte mit einem Presskabelschuh an der Flanschglocke befestigen.
