Description Checklist for SS Foam Tank: Tank Capacity- 5 KL Plate Material-SS 316 Plate Thickness-6mm Baffles-6mm SS 316 Plate- To avoid surging due to movement of vehicle. 2% of Expansion space shall be made in the tank, over and above foam compound capacity. Tank shall be suitably stiffened with SS angles to avoid buckling & Distoration. SS nuts & bolts shall used to fastened baffle plates. The threads of bolts shall be tack welded for beyond the nut to prevent them falling in the tank. Suitable lifting lugs shall be provided on the shell of the tank to enable it to lift off the trolley for repair/replacement. The tank shall be fitted with sludge trap. The tank shall have a cleaning hole of 250mm dia. & 50mm drain pipe with SS ball valve and 63mm (SS) instantaneous female coupling incorporated in it. The bottom of the tank shall have a slight slope towards the sludge trap. The tank shall have a filling hole/nozzle of 150mm diameter at top and a removable conical strainer of SS316 fitted to it. The filling hole shall have an etched SS name plates with marking FOAM . A calibration dip hatch shall be provided on the tank to measure the tank level. Filling hole and calibration dip hatch should be covered preferably by threaded caps of SS. The tank shall have a hole/nozzle of 100mm dia. At top suitably covered with the threaded SS cap. The hole shall be used for inserting pick up tube from the JRPC of high volume long range (HVLR) foam monitors. The foam tank shall have 500mm dia. Inspection manhole with hinged and bolt able cover with suitable gasket. The manhole cover shall have an etched SS name plate with marking FOAM (Letter Size 100mm) Breathe valve shall be provided for automatic venting of compound tank when foam compound is drawn from it or the tank is being filled. The inlet line in the tank shall have an adequately strong deflector plate, which will avoid the incoming jet of foam from hitting the tank side/roof. All the nozzles for tank shall have reinforcement pads. Nozzles shall also have adequate stiffeners to take the load while in operation. Total piping in foam tank shall of SS 316. All ball valves in foam tank piping shall be of SS 316 with Teflon seats. All gaskets used in tank shall be spiral wound with SS316 and asbestos filler. All bolting shall be of SS 316. Checklist for SS Trolley: Trolley shall be made out of SS316 Channel of 150mm X 8mm thickness with SS316 plate of Min. 8mm thickness at the bottom of of the tank covering the tank area with minimum extension of 4" on all side. The trolley shall be mounted on four std. make tubeless tyres with two solid beam axle with requiste bearing on heavy duty semi-elliptical spring which can take the load of entire unit. Towing eye of minimum 80mm dia. Shall be provided in front of trolley. Telescopic support legs (04 Nos.) mechanical type for support shall be provided, which shall bear the total load. Suitable arrangement shall be made in the trolley with covered box for keeping 04 Nos. of 30m long, 02 Nos. of 15m long 63mm size delivery hoses and 01 Nos. of 30m long 100mm size delivery hose into it. Inspection & Testing: Review of Mill test certificates and co-relation of raw-materials before start of fabrication. DP test of all welds of tank. DP test of all nozzles for SS foam tanks. Ultrasonic NDT for reinforcement & nozzle areas of SS tanks. Hydro static test of tank shall be carried out at 0.50 Kg/Cm at the top of tank. Pressure shall be held for minimum duration of 4 Hours. Visual & Dimensional check before mounting on trolley. Road test of the foam trolley mounted foam tank shall be carried out to ensure max. speed, turning radius etc. Performance Guarantee: The manufacturer shall guarantee the material, workmanship and performance unit for a period of 18 months from date of supply or 12 months from date of commissioning of appliance which ever is later.The vendor without any extra cost shall rectify any mechanical defect, faulty workmanship or operational defects found during this period shall be rectified by vendor without any extra cost to NOCPL/ICOL/DAS.

List of Documents: With Bid: Calculation of tank deisgn. Details and drawing of the offered foam tank with BOM of each component. Supply record/Performance details (PTR) Reference lists of vendor showing his experience in design, manufacturing & supply of offered SS Tank/Trolley. Calculation of load bearing capacity of the trolley. General arrangement & Cross sectional drawings incorporating the stipulated inspection and testing requirements. After Placement of Order: Details and drawing of the offered foam tank with BOM. It shall include details & drawings of all sub assemblies. Calculation of tank design. Calculation for load bearing capacity of the trolley. General arrangement & Cross sectional drawings. Details of foam induction device for the foam monitor. Quality Assurance Plan After Completion of supplies: Seven Sets of documents (duly certified) to be provided: Details and drawing of the offered foam tank. All inspection and testing record including material certificates. Operating and instruction manuals. Testing and maintenance procedure.
