#tftp-server flash:/spa50x_30x_se_v755.xml alias Swedish_Sweden/508-dictionary.xml #tftp-server flash:/spa50x_30x_se_v755.xml alias Swedish_Sweden/509-dictionary.xml #tftp-server flash:/spa50x_30x_no_v755.xml alias Norwegian_Norway/501-dictionary.xml #tftp-server flash:/spa50x_30x_no_v755.xml alias Norwegian_Norway/502-dictionary.xml #tftp-server flash:/spa50x_30x_no_v755.xml alias Norwegian_Norway/504-dictionary.xml #tftp-server flash:/spa50x_30x_no_v755.xml alias Norwegian_Norway/508-dictionary.xml #tftp-server flash:/spa50x_30x_no_v755.xml alias Norwegian_Norway/509-dictionary.xml #tftp-server flash:/spa50x_30x_he_v755.xml alias Hebrew_Hebrew /501-dictionary.xml #tftp-server flash:/spa50x_30x_he_v755.xml alias Hebrew _Hebrew /502-dictionary.xml #tftp-server flash:/spa50x_30x_he_v755.xml alias Hebrew _Hebrew /504-dictionary.xml #tftp-server flash:/spa50x_30x_he_v755.xml alias Hebrew _Hebrew /508-dictionary.xml #tftp-server flash:/spa50x_30x_he_v755.xml alias Hebrew _Hebrew /509-dictionary.xml PS: Because tftp-server flash:/spa50x_30x_en_v755.xml alias English_United_States/501-dictionary.xml is too long for showing in a line, the screen just shows $n_v755.xml alias English_United_States/ 501-dictionary.xml in the end.

For SPA525, use the same method,

You can copy all SPA525 xml files to a directory, for example named, spa525_v755, and upload the .tar file to UC520 using the cmd line: #archive tar /xtract tftp://tftp-IP-address/spa525_v755.tar flash: then create tftp alias for xml files using the cmd line, like: #tftp-server flash:/spa525_fr_v755.xml alias French_France/525G-dictionary.xml

3. Defining Per-Phone Configuration Files

Input the following cmd line: #configure terminal (if you just process the step 2, that means you are already in the right directory, this command line is no need.) #telephony-service #cnf-file location flash: (select flash memory as the configuration file storage location) #cnf-file perphone #end

4. Get the ephone number

a) Connect UC520 with SPA5x5, SPA525. b) Get phones MAC address, for example, the phones MAC address is:E05FB9824BEE c) Input cmd line: #show ephone This command is to get the ephone number where MAC address equal to E05FB9824BEE, in this example, is ephone 5

5. Locale for specific phone

Locale French to ephone 5, for example: a) Config user-locale and network-locale Input the following cmd line: #configure terminal #telephony-service

#user-locale 1 FR #network-locale 1 FR #exit

b) Config ephone-template Input the following cmd line: #ephone-template 1 #user-locale 1 #network-locale 1 #exit

c) Assign ephone-template to ephone Input the following cmd line: #ephone 12 #ephone-template 1 #exit

d) Reboot ephone Input the following cmd line: #ephone 12 #reset #exit

e) You can change the language using the same method. Further information on UC520 localization can refer to Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express System Administrator Guide.pdf
