Salary - $1,347.30 - $1,544.10 pw + super This newly created position will assist a specialist team in designing, producing, implementing and conducting asset management processes. Essential Experience in asset management field and/or civil engineering with good knowledge of asset

management principles and practices as they relate to local government assets Competence in verbal and written analysis and reporting of results of technical investigations and the ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, and display good report writing skills Demonstrated experience in road and drainage inspections and preparation of program of works and knowledge in the preparation of budget working papers and other statistical reports Experience in Asset capitalisation Demonstrated knowledge in the development and maintenance of an Asset Management Plan for Council assets Experience in data management in Asset Management Systems, GIS and pavement management Experience using MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word and MS Project and other corporate programs The ability to supervise consultants, and/or staff involved in asset management activities. Demonstrated ability to coordinate resources and plan activities Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines Desirable Experience Experience Experience Experience options. mobile asset data capture system with GPS in SQL programming and Iron Python in providing training and support to system users across organisation, including field users in the analysis, evaluation and planning of medium and long term assets infrastructure
