Coin lace looks like an old Chinese coin, which is how it gets its name. Twisted every 4th row, it has a cable effect without actual cabling; each twist has an eyelet at the center. Inspired by Kate Gilbert's Clapotis, this Coin Lace Stole is knitted diagonally with a combination of coin lace and long-ladder patterns. Long-ladder stitches are dropped on every right side row.
