Introduction
In this report we will be reporting on the research, investigation and creation of our chosen idea from project two which considers the use of the raspberry pi within the Humanitarian aid industry. From this we will be creating a list of requirements for the product as well as explaining and diagrammatically showing a prototype of our product. Initially we will be creating a questionnaire (a sample of this will be found in the beginning of our report) to enable us to gather information about our market audience as well as a few key points of our product. The reason why we have chosen to do the PI Tech is because it is very resourceful when it comes to a disaster. We believe that our creation is the future of humanitarian aid. As it is the first of its kind it is relatively something that can be adapted on. This will mean you can add much more detail to the product and also enhance it not just for humanitarian aid but other causes too. The company is made up of 6 individuals who are the owners of the company. We as a company believe bringing in something new and something fresh hence the name Paradigm Industry. We wanted to look at the gaps and also start something completely different compared to something that is resourceful in everyday needs we wanted to make sure that people who are using the resourceful products everyday can use them by saving lives with our PI Tech. The information and research we provide in this report will illustrate how much of a success this product can really be. We will also be considering costs of the product, talking about what software and hardware we will be using bearing in mind this is still a prototype. Moreover, we will be discussing the materials we wish to use. In the latter stages of the report we will be creating a site map for our own group company that would provide a platform for our product to be showcased and sold.

This information shows that the majority of people who filled out this questionnaire were between the ages of 18 and 25 years old. This piece of information was useful because it gave us a good insight in to the types of age groups are aware of the importance of the humanitarian relief industry. 2. Current employment status?

The information in the table above gives us an insight of the current working statuses of the questionnaire applicants, the majority of people asked were in full time study, which leads to the possibility of them having a good knowledge of the industry.

The overwhelming majority of people who answered this question answered with 10,000 or less, this gives us a good insight into the affordability of this possible product ides which we have decided on.

Out of the respondents that took our questionnaire, just over half replied that they were married; this could imply that those who were married are more in favour of our proposal for the humanitarian relief industry. Those who are married are likely to be older; therefore they may be more aware about features and products within the industry.

The information above revolves around the PI Tech itself. This graph displays information about the durability, effectivness and the apprenance of the product. In terms of durability, the majortiy of people responded with the agree statement. This result is positive as it significantly aids the possible development of this product. In terms of product effectivness, the most popular answer was strongly agree. This is also a positive response for us because it shows that we displayed enoough information thatr allowed the respondent to gain some knowladge about the direction of the product. The apperance, although not the main priority, is still important to us as we would like to make it aesthetically pleasing whilst also trying to use sustainable materials to do so.

The information in this graph is based around three questions based on the possible market for this product. In this graph, the respondent was asked about the possible gap in the market for the product, its ability to enter the global market and its relation to the company status. The overwhelming majority of people feel as though there could be a possible gap in the market for this product if it were to reach late phases in development. In terms of it enterning the global market, again, most people agreed and though thtts it could be used in a veriaty of different countries, the reason being that earthquakes are not restricted in to hitting one particular country or continent. Fibnally, the majority of people felt as though the product was a good reflection on the company as it would be used for disaster relief worldwide.

The costing side of things will become hugely significant if the product were to be developed further, as we, as a company wopuld like it to developed as sustainably as possible. This graph does tell us people would like it to me made with renewable and sustainable materials, which is also important to us as a company. Most of the respondents also feel as though the product could be cust effective, the reason for the neutral responses was down to a price not being stated yet.

For this question, we asked what the estimated pricing options could be for the PI Tech. The large majority of people would estimate the cost of this product to be in the region of 1,500 and 3,000. This is a reasonable price estimation with the information that was supplied to them in this early stage of research.

These questions revolve around the quality of the proeuct. The first question and its responses are based on the effectivness the proeuct could brign to an area where an earthquake has hit. The only two results recorded from the data received were strongly sgree and agree. This is a positive guide as it could actually be a realistic product to aid disaster relief. the final question is asking whether or not it could be beneficial to the humanitarian relief industry, again we only received positive results for this question so we believe, as a company, that this will be a beneficial product, particularley in the earthquake aid sector.

The way the product looks and feels is a very stable and not too heavy but a well-built product. There are so many different ideas paradigm came up with. But we came down to choosing this idea as it makes the most sense and also is the most helpful in a situation of a disaster. The tank belt inside of the 14 steel wheel is a secondary use of an emergency if there was to be a major collision with the device, such as a rock or a were to collapse on to it from a certain height and the tyre was to burst the tank belt works as a backup for the device to keep moving. The motor in the P.I Tech is there to maintain velocity of the product and also to make the whole product power up it keeps the battery going and also the device moving at the speeds of 4-5MPH which is more than enough as it is there to rescue others in danger. The motor will be powered by the battery which is all connected to the circuit board meaning that the circuit board needs to be cased properly so there are no problems with it. There has to be proper casing around the device for it be fully up and running without any problems.
The whole of the device is controlled by the raspberry pi the pi will have a special software in it that our team will put together specifically to control this device and that can be done. The app will be made by our programmers in the team which will be controlled through python through a first person view the device. From research we have seen a bot which is controlled by a raspberry pi which uses python and they have complete control over the device. The research has given us certain codes to control and test the device.

The company can tell you more but the information is fully confidential to what other codes we need to add as the device has not been patented so there is so much we can say but the device will fully work if this goes into production. But what we have here is proof of the product that it will work and also there is enough information for this concept to become real.

Circuit Board (inside the product) On the inside of the main frame there is an inseparable part of our product - circuit board. This has all of the components to making sure that the device works and is up and running. The circuit board will be protected in a strong plastic case which is surrounded by the main frame. The Circuit board will consist of: The circuit board is built up with many other devices the software will be running. With this circuit board there are room changes in the future as this still is a prototype in the future we will update and upgrade this product due to evolving software. The circuitry that we have planned at the moment; we believe is enough in terms of hardware for the software to run. Due to many reasons we have not done any tests on the device but by doing tests we can see what more components we need to add. The circuit board that you see here is just a draft of the real thing. The tests we need to carry out will be a test to see if each component will work because we are going to need components like resistors, capacitors and also the correct value of the circuit board to run with the right current which will channel through the circuit board.
