Romans 15:7
Accept one another
Understand acceptance – To the world this is a blind acceptance with no discernment or distinction.
Just as Christ accepted you – To the Christian this is not a blind acceptance.
Woman at the Well – Jesus indicated that her life style was not appropriate.
Terry also gave the examples of the woman caught in adultery in John 8 and a reference in Luke 19.
Purpose of Acceptance: Conform us to God’s image.

Financial Report: YAMA account – 338.85; ERTH account – 898.90; YOUTH account – 783.78

Youth Workers Meeting: Terry reported that the youth ministers get together once a month. The
next meeting is Thursday, Oct 15, 2009 at noon. Place: HyVee

Our purpose…
To intercede for our children and their schools
To pray for the teachers and the staff
To pray that our schools be guided by biblical values and high moral standards
To be an encouragement and positive support to the schools

MITI has been around 25 years, in 130 countries, 14,000 schools are prayed for.
The group gets together for 1 hour a week.

Life Light
Jon reported that he received a call from Life Light asking if the churches would support Life Light if it
came to Yankton.

Magazine –Quarterly
Loretta Sorenson

Loretta reported that the quarterly magazine that she published will be discontinued. She will be
sending refunds.

Dave Gunderson reported that his military unit is being activated in May 2010. He will be gone for a
year.

Bob encouraged the churches to become in the Parade of Lights on Friday, November 20, 2009 at
5:30.
