This is a noncredit course designed for maintenance personnel. The participant will learn basic safety, symbols, electrohydraulics, plus an introduction to proportional control using hands-on lab techniques. Instructor: Jim Hardin Mondays and Wednesdays February 17 March 24 6 - 9 p.m. Fee: $499
This class will cover low-pressure boiler (15 psi or less) operation and construction, along with maintenance and safety procedures. The class counts for 1,400 of the state-required experience hours needed to take a low-pressure boiler operators test. Participants will take sample tests to prepare for the state exam. Content includes boiler feed pumps and fuel feeders, feedwater heaters and feedwater treatment and fuel combustion. Participants will take sample tests to prepare for the state exam. Well look at troubleshooting small conveyor systems controlled by Microlgix1000 PLCs using RSLogix500 software. Text required.
