Commercial Project Involvement: Kigali, Rwanda, South Africa Collaborated with team on schematic and design phases of the Kigali project - the first sustain able high rise in Rwanda Designed floors 0-6 and drafted furniture layouts for security checkpoints, vehicle stations, BMW showroom, business office suites, gym, and apartment levels. Created a brochure to summarize all aspects of the project, including the sustainable methods used, and overall vision for 2020 to submit to the World Bank. James Steele Phd & Susanna Seierup: Undergraduate Research & Publications Intern Japanese Architecture, James Steele - Southeast Asian Architecture Series Assisted with visual content, image database research and copyrighting, and publishing materials. Organized, edited, and recorded 200+ images and post-editing information on a 200+ page document that thoroughly tracks each image with background information from raw to post-processed. South Korean Architecture: Haeinsa Temple, Susanna Seierup Processed and edited ink drawings of the temple, and in some cases recreated architectural drawings based on ancient ink drafts. James Steele Phd: Undergraduate Research Assistant Reformatted lectures, upgraded visual content through image database research, and prepared a new outline to reformat Fall 2012 214 A & B World History of Architecture classes. Glass Pavilion Installation: Polycarbonate Team Leader Led a studio of 12 students and derived a process to manufacture 800+ polycarbonate pieces in an efficient and cost effective manner. Recruited 15 USC students and arranged a 2-week trip to BOSCO, a nonprofit orphanage in Bangalore, India to mentor, educate, and learn about abandoned children on the streets.
