Universal Turbine Engine Wash Unit Specifications: - Operating Voltages 115 volts AC 50 to 400 Hz. or 2432 Volts DC. - Flow rate 2.5 - 3 GPM. (9.4 to 11.3 1/m). - Operating Pressure 25 - 90 psi. - Horsepower 0.5. - Weight 83 lbs. (37.65 Kg). - A 25 ft. electrical cord is provided for connection to a 115 volt power source. - An MS3506 electrical receptacle is provided for connection to a 28 volt DC power source. An optional 60-400Hz electrical adapter is available for connection directly to aircraft power supply. - A screened 10 ft. inlet hose and 25 ft. discharge hose with a quick disconnect coupling are provided with the unit. - Hot Section Cleaning Kit with T-700 and T-701 engine specific nozzles is available on request. - Two each, three foot long extension wands are provided with the unit. Included with the wands are a quick disconnect coupling for connection to the discharge hose, a union to combine both wands together and a spray nozzle for use in general washing and de-icing operations. - Two each safety pressure cutoff switches are provided with the unit; one low pressure, one high pressure. - An adjustable pressure relief valve is provided to regulate fluid pressure and prevent over pressurization of the Wash Unit or aircraft engine. This feature allows the wash unit to be adjusted so it can be utilized on a variety of aircraft turbine engines. - The unit is operated locally by pushbuttons located on the top cover, or, remotely by pushbuttons on the end of the discharge hose. - A handle is provided to move the unit about and to serve as a storage reel for the hoses and electrical cord. The handle telescopes to minimize storage space. - The unit is finished per MIL-STD-808. Polyurethane topcoat per MIL-C-46168.

The Universal Turbine Engine Wash Unit, Part Number 21C2438G01, is designed to clean the compressor section of gas turbine engines using a mixture of cleaning solution and water, wash the aircraft using the wand(s)/nozzle supplied and apply anti-icing fluid. This versatile unit is utilized for maintenance operations on virtually any turbine powered aircraft or vehicle. It is currently used by the US Military on multiple variations of General Electric T-700 and T-701 engines used on UH-60, HH-60, AH-60, AH64 and all other variations of Blackhawk and Apache helicopters, TF34-100 engines used on A-10 fixed wing aircraft, T56-A-15 engines used on C-130 fixed wing aircraft, T64 engines used on CH-53 helicopters and the T53-L-13 engine used on the UH-1 Huey helicopter, among others.
