The fight between Gerry Bertier and Julius Campbell during the camp training where they fight for their individual identity and the team leaderships and try to make each other rethink the consequences. The fight between the team members during the primary match. The conflict between the few school Black and white guys (after coming back from the camp), which made others to get indulged but Gerry and Julius try to resolve it. Brought both them more close and made them more responsible. Winning the initial match, the few teammates go for celebration with the new team mate (the one who was made in lately during the summer camp, with long golden hair) and the white restaurant owner denies entertaining them and thus Rev, one of the black team mate thought that it was done intentionally. Thus the team broke again in small groups. The issues of Pertey, one of the black teammates with one of the white player and his individual focus made the coach to keep him on the bench for a while. The Conflicting leadership styles of both Herman Boone and Bill Yoast several times was the reason to influce the team performance lot many times.

As it is well known fact that the consequences of undertaking change in a society are great. Any leader who tries to change something in a substantial way is going to face situations in which they have to make huge decisions. Similarly in this movie both the coaches specially coach Herman Boone takes to many decisions to reduce-resolve the conflicts between the team players. Following are the interventions:1. Trying to improve group dynamics and relationships as depicted in a scene where coach Herman made his players reseat themselves on the bus based on offensive and defensive teams. This forced players of different races to interact and bond as a team. 2. At the beginning of the football training camp when Coach Boone requires each Black student to meet with each White student, individually, and both students must learn personal details about his counterpart. 3. Punishment set for the fault of your counterparts non-performance to the entire team. 4. Coach Yoast several time felt the need of re-designing the team & changed few players at the moment of important games. 5. Making them join school together and keep in touch always, developing the team with no racism was his biggest step.

6. Boone pushes the players harder. As they were made to run at morning ;300 am, the team ends up at the field where the Gettysburg battle was fought and Boone turns to them and says: Fifty-thousand died fighting the same fight were still fighting today. . . . Take a lesson from the dead. If we dont come together right now on this hallowed ground, we too will be destroyed. . . . Respect each other [and] learn to play this game like men.
