2.3 Applicable Codes and Standards The local statutory and legislative regulations have the highest precedence. Codes, standards and regulations referred below shall be of the latest edition and shall be applied in the following order of precedence: EU and Romanian regulations and technical codes. PETROM E&P standards or, when no such standards exist, OMV E&P Standards. FRD Oil Project Standards Romanian national standards transposing European standards (or equivalent). European standards, European technical approvals and other technical reference systems established by the European standardisation bodies (or equivalent). International Standards (e.g. ISO, IEC, API) or equivalent.
