Executive Summary This study was designed to develop an educational interactive computer game application. Its objectives is to improve the users spelling and typing skill by allowing the player to type instead of clicking buttons in answering what is being ask in the game and to improve and reminisce the players knowledge about the Philippines by providing information or trivia like Philippine history, arts, places, events, people, landmarks, trademarks and animals. It is intended for 9 to 12 years old that is capable of using a computer. The game has a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that is easy to navigate. The proponents name the game Piscograff. It is a single player game that can only beplayed in laptops and personal computers. It uses 800 x 600 pixels dimension for display. The contents of the game were based on the books used at Notre Dame of Marbel Universty-IBED (Integrated Basic Education Department). The books used as the references on the content of the game are Sibika at Kultura 3 for Grade 3 which contains different kind of water forms and Filipino ancestor. Hekasi 4: Hegrapiya Kasaysayan at Sibika for grade 4 which contains geography, historical places, landmarks, national animals, arts and important events. Hekasi 5: Hegrapiya Kasaysayan at Sibika for Grade 5 which contains information about presidents, topography, and national heroes. Hekasi 6: Hegrapiya Kasaysayan at Sibika for Grade 6 which contains different Tribes of the Philippines, Logos of Philippine Government Agencies, and Philippine Politics. These are also the basis of the complexity of the game.

In order to play the game the player should register his/her name. The logic of the game is to answer a single image presented. A set of answer list is shown in which the player must choose the correct answer. The player should type the answer in the given space below and is not case sensitive. The player should answer it correctly in order to proceed to the next level. The player has only three chances to guess correctly the image shown. If the player loses his three chances, it will remain in the same level but it will show another image or it will return to the levels menu. The game has only 15 levels, after finishing the game the name of the player who earned the 5 highest points will be shown in the Hall of Fame. Based on the evaluation taken from Grade 3 to Grade 4 students of Integrated Basic Education Department (IBED), the proponents concluded that Picsograff is an effective edutainment game. It is informative that it could help improve a players vocabulary, typing skills and spelling skills. To further improve the features of the game, the proponents recommend to improve the Registration interface, sound effect, and to add hint, graphics and animation. For convenient access of the game the proponents also recommend to deploy the game on android phones.
