Project Copy on Design Projects

Description
Tribon M3 Project Copy now also handles Design Panels. In a project which is setup with connected Design Panels / (production) Plane Panels, these will be regarded as mutually referring objects. The Add referred objects function will take this connection into account. Thus if a Design Panel is selected and the function Add referred objects is used, the connected Production Panels will be added to the selection. Correspondingly, if a Production Panel is selected and the function Add referred objects is used, the connected Design Panel will be added to the selection. Although the Design Panel and its connected Production panels constitute an intimately connected object cluster, Project Copy will allow the user to export/import one type of panels without the other. Note: It should be noted that some operations require both to be present. Examples of such operations are: Deleting a Design or a Production Panel. Deleting a Block Seam or changing the boundaries of a Production Panel which only is possible to do via changes to the Design Panel. (See also release note Design Projects in Basic Design). Furthermore, if a Production Panel is imported into a project without its connected Design Panel, all updates, normally transferred to the Design Panel will be accumulated. When (and if) the Production panel is re-imported into the project where the connected Design Panel exists, these updates will be properly synchronized when the Design Panel is activated.

It is possible to permanently break the connection between the Design and its Production Panels by using the utility described in release note Conversion of Projects

Benefits
Design and/or (production) Plane panels can be exported/imported. The connection between them can be used to extend the selection for export/import.

Project Copy: Default File for Options

Default file for storing the Project Copy Options (SB_PROJECTCOPY_OPTIONS).

Description
A new environment variable (SB_PROJECTCOPY_OPTIONS) has been introduced to specify a default file name. This file contains a set of copy options.

Benefits
Possible to store copy options in a default file.
