Displaying a PNR
PNR display by Flight Number for Date Departure

This entry allows the user to display a PNR by host flight and last name. The Sabre computer reservation system will automatically default to todays date if no departure date is used.

*974-HAMMAD
Item * 974 HAMMAD

<Enter>
Component Display Flight number Dash Passenger surname

The Sabre response will be a display of the PNR. Once participants have viewed the PNR, have them make the entry to ignore. If there is no existing flight with that number, the Sabre system will respond with #FLT#. If there is no passenger on the flight with the name requested, the Sabre systems response will be
#NO NAMES#

If there is not an exact match but similar names, the Sabre system will display a list of names from which you may display the PNR, by making the entry *1 for PNR 1 or *2 for PNR 2, etc.
Note:

PNRs will purge from the system 24 hours after the farthest dated segment in the PNR. The purged PNRs are captured off-line for future reference.
For example, a PNR was originally booked with the following dates:
1 2 2006Y 01MAY J LAXSFO SS1 2005Y 11MAY T SFOLAX SS1 635A 655A 749A 812A

A portion of the itinerary is canceled and rebooked with a new date, shown below:
1 2 2006Y 01MAY J LAXSFO SS1 2003Y 07MAY F SFOLAX SS1 635A 630A 749A 747A

Notice segment two is now for 07MAY. Because 11MAY is the date farthest in the future, this PNR will purge 24 hours from this date.
