Telman Some, or possi ly many, may not !no" it #t eing a teacher is a $a#nting pro%ession& 'n a $aily asis teachers are teaching, planning, prepping, "or!ing o#t complications, colla orating "ith peers, learning ne" teaching techni(#es to stay "ith the changing o% o#r st#$ents nee$s an$ e(#ipping the classroom "ith the est possi le learning en)ironment& E)ery teacher has their o"n "ay o% teaching, "hether it is s#ccess%#l or not all $epen$s on "hat classroom philosophy they ha)e an$ ho" they manage their classroom& * s#ccess%#l teacher is not one that simply !no"s the in%ormation nee$e$ to e learne$, #t a s#ccess%#l teacher is one "ho has create$ a s#ccess%#l learning en)ironment "hile a$opting a philosophy+s that %its the personality an$ teaching style o% the teacher& *s a teacher to e, I mysel% ha)e a$opte$ a %e" philosophies to %it my teaching style an$ ho" I "ant my classroom to r#n& The classroom management philosophies I choose not only %it "ho I am as a teacher #t they are also cre$ite$ philosophies that ha)e een pro)en to "or!& I ha)e a$opte$ into my classroom management philosophy ,o)e an$ ,ogic, Capt#ring -i$s .earts, /ong an$ some o% 0on 1orman2s2 classroom management tips& Part o% my classroom management philosophy is ho" I "ill e setting #p my classroom, prepare %or the year to come an$ ho" I "ill r#n my %irst $ay+ %irst co#ple "ee!s o% school& Tho#gh I $o not ha)e many oo!s as o% yet, I $o plan on ha)ing an e3tensi)e li rary %or my classroom& I hope to ha)e a )ariety o% rea$ing materials, "ith the hope o% reaching all rea$ing le)els, rea$ing pre%erences an$ pro)i$ing m#ltiple literacy2s %or m#ltiple le)els o% learning& I "o#l$ li!e to ha)e a rea$ing "all "here I ha)e my oo!s, posters an$ se)eral other reso#rces %or !i$s to choose %rom& I% comp#ters are assessa le I "o#l$ li!e to place comp#ters near this rea$ing area& I ha)e notice$ great

Telman $esire to #il$ a teacher st#$ent relationship, one that care gen#inely a o#t them as a learner an$ as a person& I "ill also ha)e a letter that "ill e sent home "ith the st#$ents& This letter "ill e %or the parents, gran$ parents an$ g#ar$ians& This letter "ill intro$#ce "ho I am, my teaching metho$s, the year to come an$ "hat to e3pect %rom the !in$ o% lessons I teach thro#gho#t the year& I "ant comm#nication to e open to me& I% there are (#estions or concerns, I "ant them to e hear$ ans"ere$ an$ "or!e$ on& * teachers2 "orl$ is not 9#st "ithin the classroom #t it is also o#tsi$e the classroom an$ in the comm#nity. Just a side note: I want to always have an open desk for and possible new students throughout the year, that has any and all supplies given to my students at the beginning of the year including the welcome letter.
