Transfer the Basic soft are pac!age to Node B.

Open an 0T+ client such as 0ile5illa and connect to the RBS &+ address 128.2'%.1.1 through *!T B port of 1)/ !a-e sure .ou select the root director. =,> at the RBS side. Transfer ,c2 and ,d directories to the RBS as sho4n belo4.

Once the transfer is completed ma-e sure the si5e of ,c2 is 128! and ,d is "8!. This can be done b. issuing the 7ols command ". #estart Node B ith $asic soft are 3o4 4e ha7e to restart the RBS 4ith the basic soft4are. The command to be issued is reload. /ait till the RBS restart is completed 10. /e login to the RBS using the element manager soft4are. The script to be run is 1_Cabinet.xml. 0rom the tools menu; select Cabinet Equipment configuration. /e can choose the 4i5ard or the scripts option. Since cabinet e$uipment configuration is $uite simple; 4e 4ill be running the 4i5ard manuall.. +lease follo4 the screenshots belo4. 1. 2. Click ext Since 4e are running the 4i5ard manuall. click ext. The RBS 4ill proceed 4ith a restart and it is a normal beha7iour. /ait for the restart to complete.

Once the current configuration is loaded; click next The follo4ing screens sho4 the parameters that ha7e been defined through our scripts. T3B is used for Optical @igabit #thernet through S0+ and is re$uired for &+R 3 sites. This screen sho4s the &ub &+ address; &ub :*an; &ub @ate4a.;&ub Subnet mas- and the &+ S.nc Ref &+ addresses. The next hop &+ address 4ill be the O ! @ate4a. &+ address The next screen sho4s the Ser7er configuration inside the Singtel net4or- and the. are standard 7alues. Click next once done. The next screen sho4s the 3T+ ser7ers for the time setting in the RBS. The next screen sho4s the 3et4or- S.nchroni5ation a7ailable. /e ha7e configured t4o &+ S.nc Ref>s in the RBS. Therefore 4e 4ill see 2 entries here. Confirm the parameters that ha7e been entered in the O ! script. Click 6ini%&

,un "ite Equipment Configuration The next step is to run the Site #$uipment configuration. /e 4ill be running 3_"ite_Equipment_%cript.xml. The site e$uipment configuration defines the site name; number of carriers,sector; defines the external e$uipment such as SC; and the feeder cable settings. To in7o-e the Site e$uipment configuration; go to 2ool% CCD "ite Equipment configuration Select the Site e$uipment file 3_"ite_Equipment.xml and Click next This screen sho4s the Site name and the logical name.
