UW FORMULA SAE

09/09 -present

Performed composites research, analysis, testing, and manufacturing for carbon fiber monocoque formula car chassis. Executed the CAD modeling, iterative FEA analysis, CNC machining, assembly, and testing for various structural machined components on the UW formula car. Led a team of over 45 people and attained over $375,000 in materials and services in two years for the FSAE team. Worked with a large network of companies such as Hexcel, Toray, Coastal Enterprises, Composites One, Composite Solutions, Janicki Industries, and more to create a full carbon fiber monocoque chassis.
