Monday
“It is not fitting, when one is in God's service, to have a gloomy face or a chilling look.” Francis of Assisi

Read the Quote from St. Francis of Assisi above, and think about ways in which you have
either a good or bad attitude. Write a prayer to God asking Him to help you improve your
attitude and include specific examples where you need help.
Tuesday
“"…The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective" (James 5:16).

Patron saints are chosen as special protectors or guardians over areas of life. These areas can include
occupations, illnesses, churches, countries, causes -- anything that is important to us. Patron saints are often
chosen today because an interest, talent, or event in their lives overlaps with the special area. Angels can also be
named as patron saints. A patron saint can help us when we follow the example of that saint's life and when we
ask for that saint's intercessory prayers to God.

“O my God, I firmly believe that you are one God in three divine Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe that your divine son became man, died for our
sins, and that he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths which the holy Catholic Church teaches, because you who have
revealed them, who can neither deceive nor be deceived.

Here is an easy method to remember who to pray for. Start with #1, the thumb, and work your way around your hand!

Saturday
O my God, who are infallible Truth and can neither deceive nor be deceived, I firmly believe all that you have revealed and propose to my belief through your
holy Church, because you have revealed it. I believe that you are one in nature and three in Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe that
you are the Creator of all things and that you reward the just for all eternity in heaven and punish the wicked for all eternity in hell. I believe that Jesus Christ
is the Son of God made man, that he suffered and died for my sins and rose from the dead in glory, and that it is only in him through the Holy Spirit that
eternal life is given to men. I believe in fine all that your holy Church believes. I thank you for having called me to the true faith, and I affirm that with the help
of your grace I will live and die in the holy faith.
