The aims of the project are to examine how courts operate in a series of different countries (e.g. UK, Ukraine, Bulgaria, etc.) and to learn what people experience when they bring their cases to court. The research consis ted of observation of a series of court hearings followed by interviews with those involved in the cases (parties, judges, lawyers).
