REITZ HIGH SCHOOL JOURNALISM | EDITOR IN CHIEF | 2013-2014 Editor in Chief of both the Reflections yearbook and the Mirror Newspaper at Reitz. First time both were assigned to one person. Handed out assignments and enforced deadlines. Final review for all writing, including several award-winning articles. Brainstormed and achieved consensus on content ideas and plans to overcome unexpected challenges. Worked with staff to brainstorm ideas and meet deadlines on time. TEAM MEMBER | CEDAR CIRCLE FARM | SUMMER, 2012 AND 2013 Preparation and staff for annual Strawberry Festival, a family fun and education day supporting Cedar Circles mission of promoting and teaching organic and sustainable agriculture methods. Duties included general office, bakery, and managing childrens activities for the festival attended by over 1200 people. CASHIER, SLUSHIE MAKER | ST. JOE SHAVED ICE SHACK | SUMMER, 2012 COMMUNITY SERVICE During seven year tenure with Student Council, volunteered for countless community service projects, such as Race for the Cure and Operation: Hot Mess, a citywide effort to clean up Evansville.
