Breathing difficulty and pain in airways. Blushing, pain and later corrosion burn, skin appears greasy Stinging, pain, eyes tearing u, reflexive blinking and cramps in the eyelids. Can cause serious damage to the eyes and subsequent loss of sight Burning pain in mouth, throat and stomach. Difficulty swallowing, increased saliva production, fainting, bloody vomit and possibly chock. White, soapy coating in the mouth that develops into yellowish/brownish spot or corrosion burns. Non flammable. Strong chemical reaction with acids. Dissolves metals such as aluminium, zinc, tin and lead releasing hydrogen. These reactions can produce explosive compounds. It also dissolves oxides of aluminium and zinc. The substance dissolves grease coatings and attacks certain plastics and rubber materials such as in washers.

FIRST AID MEASURES In Case of skin contact wash skin with copious quantities of water with diluted vinegar added. Immediately remove soiled clothing. In case of continued irritation seek medical attention. Immediately rinse thoroughly with water until doctors takes over with treatment. Remove contact lenses. In case of continued irritation seek medical attention. Rinse the mouth and give copious quantities of milk or water to conscious persons. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention. Seek fresh air. Rinse nose and mouth with water. In case of respiration problems seek medical attention at once. Affected persons are moved to fresh air. In case of respiratory failure, give mouth to mouth aid. Unconscious persons who are breathing should be placed in recovery position and kept warm.
