Immigration Essay

Imagine yourself you cant provide food for your family. Illegal immigrant families have these problems everyday. My three reasons why I want illegal immigrants to be granted U.S. citizenship that are they want a better life, theyre not crimes that go over the border, and they are helping the economy too.

My first reason is that the illegal immigrants are helping the United States economy. In Does the U.S. Need Illegal Immigrants? on the yes side first paragraph, Somewhere between 7 and 8 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. are working, doing jobs we need done, and contributing to the economy. Again in The Great Immigration Debate on the third paragraph the last sentence, Some argue
illegal immigrants are good for the economy, with many taking jobs that most Americans dont want. Once again Does the U.S. Need Illegal Immigrants? article in the fourth paragraph, In fact, most unskilled immigrants support and sustain jobs for more highly skilled American workers.

My second reason is that illegal immigrants came here to have a better life. In the 30 Days show one of the episodes were about illegal immigrant family and a minuteman named Frank. Frank was ask to to visten the illegal immigrants family member in Mexico to see how theyre doing. While he was there one of family members showed him where they lived at before coming to the U.S. after they left he left pretty bad for them how they lived before coming to the U.S. The oldest daughter of the illegal immigrant family doesnt want to go back how the way they lived in Mexico also shes attending to a school in America. Also her father said he could used his skills to start his very own business to provide more jobs for everybody even the other illegal immigrant families.

Final reason is that the illegal immigrants that crossed the border arent crimes. So many times immigrants are force to cross the border because the living conditions were horrible and they couldnt put food on the table. Also they have to leave brothers, sisters, mom, dad, uncles, aunts, and grandparents. They have to make very hard choices when they are crossing the borders. So they can provide for their family and to have a better life in America.

Other people think that immigrants shouldnt be granted citizenship because theyre making the economy worse. Like taking jobs that other Americans are trying to get. But theyre taking jobs that no one wants. By doing that its helping our economy by taking jobs that need to be done. Also theyre supporting and sustaining jobs for the highly skilled Americans.

We can imagine us as immigrants that cant put food on the table for their family. Thats why they crossed the border to have a better in America than in their home country. They should be granted citizenship so they can have a better and also its a Americas dream to give people a better life than before. My three reason why they should be is they are helping our economy, a better life in America, and theyre not crimes. Those are my reasons why they should be citizens of America.
