Introduction v
Introduction
This manual is meant to welcome new customers to iTunes and this will help guide them
all the way through of what they will need to know of iTunes. iTunes is an amazing Apple
application that allows the user to download and browse music of their choosing to have on them
at all times. The best part of iTunes is that it is easy to understand and is easy to download, and
this manual will show you just how easy it really is. This manual is separated into four chapters.
Chapter 1: The installing and Downloading of iTunes. This chapter will help anybody who is
new to the Apple experience and will help them get started. The first chapter is broke into two
categories. The first is creating an Apple ID which is what you need to log into iTunes and be
able to access the store to download your songs. The second part to this chapter is the
downloading and installing of the iTunes application itself. It will walk you step by step of what
you need to do in order to download iTunes without a hitch and make it to where you will have
access to it on your home computer or laptop. Chapter 2: is the next chapter that will be needed
in order to use your iPod/iPhone with your music that you download from the store, which is
syncing your apple product to iTunes. This chapter just like the last has two categories in it. The
first being what it is that you need in order to sync your iPod/iPhone with iTunes. The second
category is the step by step instruction of what you need to do in order to sync the devices
properly and with ease. By the end of that chapter you will be able to automatically sync any
new songs or videos that you download from the store. This chapter is definitely important
especially if you dont want to restore your iPod/iPhone after every new item you get from the
iTunes store. Chapter 3 helps you understand how to burn CDs, redeem prepaid cards, download
the music you want as well as search for that certain band or artist that you are looking for. This
is probably the most important chapter because it helps with any and everything that you need to
be able to use the store like it was nothing. Once you get the concept of iTunes you will be able
to use it without any kind of problems. The fourth chapter is only a resource if you have any
questions concerning the application. It shows some of the frequently asked questions from other
iTunes users and this will be able to help you if any problems occur when you are downloading
the application or when you are downloading any kind of music and it refuses to download in
any way. By the end of this manual we hope to make sure everyone can download and use
iTunes with ease, and we feel that this is exactly what this manual succeeds in doing. We hope
you find this manual very helpful as you start getting into iTunes.

Troubleshooting and FAQs
This chapter is meant to help with any problems or difficulties you may encounter while
accessing iTunes. We hope to answer any questions that run through your head as these problems
occur. By the end of this chapter we hope to give you answers to any problems that you have, or
any questions that you have about iTunes in general. We also hope to show you an idea of what
to do when you get an error while downloading or if something happens to your music.
Problems that occur
iTunes has problems that occur just like any other applications that are on the computer.
One problems that occurs is the failing of iTunes to download. When this happen you need to
look at what cookies you have running and make sure you have space on your hard drive for the
application. Most of the time the reason it stops downloading is because of low space or the
cookies. So you may need to stop some of your cookies that are running.
Another problem that some people encounter is their music disappearing from their
iTunes library. When this happens try restarting your computer and reopen iTunes. If this doesnt
work try uninstalling iTunes and then reinstalling the whole application, and dont worry it wont
take up any more space on your hard drive.
One more example that people tend to have problems with is music refusing to download
after you bought an album. When this occurs keep trying to install it. If it keeps failing on you
after you have tried multiple times just restart your Apple device and that tends to fix the
problem right up. If its through your computer that this happens you will need to as well let the
rest of the songs to download and afterwards restart your computer and try downloading the song
that refuses to.
