Coursework 2 - Individual Report

In the 2nd phase of Information System Development Project(ISDP), we have
continue using the meeting to discuss the work. Nowadays, we are more closely and
understanding each other almost like family member than just a partner. In the 1st class
of 2nd phase of ISDP, we have start and learn the analysis and design about to draw the
UML diagram such as UML Design Class Diagram, Use Case Diagram, Activity
Diagram, Sequence Diagram, State Chart Diagram and Entity Relationship
Diagram(ERD). We are decide open meeting for this.
In the 1st meeting(CW2)/ 6th meeting (CW1) at Grand View Department, we are
discuss about the UML conceptual class diagram, use case diagram and activity diagram.
We have do a research and find some resource and tutorial to learn the concept to draw
the diagram. Moreover, we have write a assumption and draw the diagram follow the
requirement and match it so that the diagram are match with system requirement and
business need. Besides, I have learn to draw the diagram through online by using
Lucichart so that can improve skill and help group member facing problem for drawing
diagram.
Following the 7th meeting, our team have finished the conceptual class diagram,
use case diagram and activity diagram. We have show diagram to our lecturer during the
consultation time to make sure the diagram is in correct way. Moreover, we have
continue to draw the sequence diagram, state chart diagram and design class diagram. In
this section, we have do a lot of paperwork to improve the diagram because of the
sequence diagram, state chart diagram and design class diagram is more complicated so
that we use more time on it. Finally, we have complete our diagram for entire project and
we decide to start the system development and implementation phase there are start
coding for the system.
In addition, we plan to use CSS to make our system more user friendly and easily
to understand so that before starting coding the system in the 8th meeting, we gather go
learn about some concept of CSS, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, Jquery through
"www.w3school" this website. After that, the two lead programmer and I try start to write
code for the system. We have try do a web template for our system through Adobe
Dreamweaver CS6 and using some example online through "youtube.com". And the
other two group member are going to draw Entity Relationship Diagram(ERD) and built
the database by using phpMyAdmin.
Furthermore, we try to combine the system that we code with the database.
Finally we have done to coding our system so that now our team have start to doing
testing phase for the system. In the 9th meeting, we have make a documentation for our
system. We have do the program listing by using the use case diagram to match with the
system so that can know the result of fulfill of requirement. We have use some design
pattern for our system so that make it look nicely and better code as well as use the test
case/test plan for our system. I have doing some checking for the documentation of the
system to make sure our work are following the requirement of project case study. Lastly,
we have do some GUI and HCI for the system so that make user more easily to
understand our system and also can show out the strength of our system.
In conclusion, I will proud and wonderful can have group with my team member
because they are nice and awesome. I have learn a lot from them about discipline and
morale as well as best experience from the sharing of them. Lastly, we have do the best to
complete the project.
