WORK EXPERIENCE

Top Construction L.A., Glendale, CA 07/2013 - Present
Data Entry
Current responsibilities include entering information for customer leads into a database for the
company to gain new customers, and eliminating redundant customer data. Each phone number
must be unique and is first checked to see if the number exists; if it is a new lead, customer
information including full name, marital status, full address, phone numbers, and product
information (construction work) are entered. Typing speeds are at 80 WPM+.

Media Sales Associate/Stocker
07/2008 - 01/2009
Responsible for selling and assisting customers with their needs in the media department, which
included Video Games, Movies, Music (CD's) and MP3 Players/IPods with accessories. Additional
responsibilities added over time included overnight and early morning stocking, updating inventory,
and adding attachments (service plans, warranties) to anything being sold in the store. Helped in
the redesign and structure of the media and home theater sections of the third busiest Best Buy in
the nation at the time.

Bagger/Stocker
06/2004 - 08/2007
Started out working at the Kadena Air Force Base Commissary as a cart pusher, which was manual
labor consisting of retrieving carts left outside or throughout the store. Promoted to bagger, which
included duties such as bagging groceries for customers and assisting them with their purchases to
their vehicles if needed. Advanced to a store stocking position, my position included taking
inventory to identify the products or merchandise that need replenished on the floor, cleaning
shelves, aisles, and display cases, and ensuring that the correct shipments were received by
comparing invoices with the delivered products.

CSUN Information Technology, GPA: 3.57, Graduating with Honors.
2009 - Present
Currently a senior and full time student at California State University, Northridge, taking 20 credit
hours over six classes. The Computer Information Technology curriculum includes many courses
specifically teaching CIT (deploying and managing operating systems, integrative programming,
system administration and management, and system designs), Information Systems (database
management and SQL querying, systems analysis and design, accounting, program use, data
communication and networking, system development) and Computer Science (algorithms and data
structures, web engineering, Java programming, computer security, human computer interactions).
Also minoring in Geographic Information Systems, which includes courses based on ESRI
products, spatial databases and web services (Amazon Web Services).
