Edmodo is an educational application that can be found on any mobile device
such as iPhones Androids iPads tablets and computers! "his app combines educational
background but also provides a social environment #here students in the same class can
interact! "his app is ama$ing for students and teachers because it makes life much
simpler for students and teachers having all the materials they need for a specific class on
one #ebsite!
Edmodo is very easy to use! %hen one first logs into the #ebsite you are asked to
create a username and pass#ord #hich is completely free of charge! &rom that point the
teacher should have given the students a class code #hich #ill guide them to find all the
information about the class such as home#ork upcoming assignments and other
beneficial information! "he students are able to upload a picture of themselves to make it
more personal! "his app combines a variety of educational areas such as reading
assignments and studying! "eachers have the ability to upload everything #ith a simple
click and students can easily access it any#here #ith their devices that contain the app!
"his site also has features for uploading video clips student response areas learning
groups and a calendar providing dates of 'ui$$es tests and assignments!
(ot only does Edmodo create interaction bet#een students and teachers it also
leaves a gate#ay for parents to be involved in the educational e)perience and this leap in
instructional technology! &rom this app parents gain full access to children*s pro+ects
papers class assignments grades and so much more! Parents are given the full ability to
kno# each detail of their child*s schedule at school! ,ast but not least Edmodo also
