Q/ How does the video demonstrate the idea of sin? (What did the King of Egypt aka Pharaoh do to the Hebrew or Israelite) A/ He made Gods people into Slaves by giving them heavy work and treated them harshly He wanted to kill every male that was born to a Hebrew mother
Q/ How does sin affect oneself or others. Give example from the movie A/ The Israelite had to suffer and do all the hard work for the King who was cruel and made them his slaves.

T (Tell the Ss) After the movie, Ss are to work in groups and each group will be given a question which Ss are ask to answer and discuss with the whole class afterwards T Go through and discuss the questions Ss Watch The Prince of Egypt T Distribute one question per group T Give students approximate 10mins to discuss T Walk around and help each groups Ss Discuss their answers and write it in their book T When Ss are ready; discuss one question at a time. The Pharaoh who was cruel to his people was cursed with plaques and in the end when his son died, he finally gave in to Moses and agrees to let the Israelite go. Leads to disappointment and anger towards others and thus puts a strain in the relationship. E.g Moses was disappointed and angry at the the Pharaoh because he was treating the Israelites harshly.

That disappointment puts a strain in the relationship. There is a time of being uncomfortable until an apology is made. When the parent gives a smile, healing and forgiveness occurs. 1. Who are the Israelites and who are the Egyptians The Israelites are Gods people and the Egyptians are the King of Egypt or the Pharaoh and his people 2. What did the King of Egypt also known as the Pharaoh do to the Hebrews or Israelites? Why? He had a fear that the Israelite people were becoming too numerous, the Pharaoh overworks the people but finds that they continue to multiply. The Pharaoh then embarks on a program of genocide, demanding Every boy that is born to the Hebrews you shall throw into the Nile, but you shall let every girl live (Exodus 1:22) 3. What did God ask Moses to do and why? To confronts the Pharaoh and demand that he let the Israelite people out of Egypt because God have seen their oppression and heard his peoples cries. 4. What happened when the Pharaoh refused to let Gods people go? A series of plagues beginning with turning the Nile to Blood (Exodus 7:14-25) and ending with the death of the First born of the Egyptians (Exod 12: 29-32) where the angel of death passes over Gods people. 5. E.g The Pharaoh who overworks his people and making them slaves is bringing harm and injuries to the Israelites and making them suffer E.g By wanting to kill all the first born to the Hebrew mother leads to the separation of the child and mother such as Moses and his Mum which leads to Moses becoming the Prince of Egypt E.g The Pharaoh who sinned was cursed with plagues and when his son died, he finally gave in and let the Israelites go.
