In this section, the Project background, problem statement, project objectives, scope and
significance of project will be discussed more.

1.1 Project Background

This section will let people know (just a brief information) regarding the topics that acts
as the title of your project. For example, the title is about:

MEASURING PUBLIC PERCEPTION BASED ON MULTIPLE TEXT
OCCURRENCES AND EMOTICONS THROUGH ONLINE FORUM

So, by right, your project background will tell the surface about the TECHNIQUE to
measure the PERCEPTION in a paragraph.

Then, for the next paragraph, tell a little bit about what is PERCEPTION. How many
types etc. but, just a short one as the full topics on this matter are in Chapter 2, literature
review.

Next paragraph, tell about the INFORMATION. Why? It is because; information can be
gathered and disseminated through an ONLINE FORUM. Tell about what kind of
information in online forum etc.

Next, in this paragraph, you can tell a bit about EMOTICON. Why? It is because people
in online forum will express their emotion through an emoticon also. For example, when
you put up a happy status, a smiley emoticon will also be together with a status.

So, can you see how the project background is related to your title and your project? But,
