A VISUAL CHECK AND DOCUMENTATION

1. Confirm and verify all document supported (such as certificate, etc) relate with equipment vendor supllied
2. Confirm and verify the quantity and specification of equipment vendor suplied is the same with order
3. Confirm and verify the installation accessories (such as mounting bracket, etc) is provide by vendor as per
scope
4. Confirm and verify the tag number is provide by vendor as per scope
B FUNCTION TEST
1. Unscrew the 4 off M6 screws (5.0mm A/F hexagon key) holding the cover assembly to the base.
2. Lift the cover assembly away from the base of the enclosure to gain access to the interior.
3. Cable termination must be follow standard wiring (reffered to Instruction Manual).
4. Check power supply to detector, the supply voltage between 20-36 Vdc, nominal 24Vdc
5. Take a sample of gas detector and doing test as bellow :
a. Doing the ZERO GAS Test ( referred to Inspection and Test Procedure)
b. Doing the SPAN GAS Test ( referred to Inspection and Test Procedure)
6. At the normal condition, purging the sensor with the gas calibration untill Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 indication shown
7. Check the output analog 4-20mA linear with gas concentration reading
8. Record the all activity according gas detector function test

B FUNCTION TEST
1. Unscrew the 4 off M6 screws (5.0mm A/F hexagon key) holding the cover assembly to the base.
2. Lift the cover assembly away from the base of the enclosure to gain access to the interior.
3. Cable termination must be follow standard wiring (reffered to Technical Manual).
4. Lifted the spring loaded flap on the front of the unit, then pulling down the handle underneath.
5. Connect cable from Pull Station Unit with Multimeter, and Multimeter display shown Short Circuit.
6. For the reset the unit, first raise the lift flap away from the pull handle.
7. Use the key (provide with the unit) release the pull handle which can be returned to its original position.
8. Release the pull handle which can be returned to its original position.
9. Connect cable from Pull Station Unit with Multimeter, and Multimeter display shown Open Circuit.
10. Screwing back the 4 off M6 screws (5.0mm A/F hexagon key) holding the cover assembly to the base.
11. Record the all activity according Pull Station function test

B FUNCTION TEST
SOUNDER
1. Unscrew and remove the 4 off M6 screws (5.0mm A/F hexagon key) holding the cover assembly to the base.
2. Lift the cover assembly away from the base of the enclosure to gain access to the interior.
3. Cable termination should be in accordance with specifications applying to the required application
4. Check power supply to detector, the supply voltage between 18-32 Vdc, nominal 24Vdc.
5. Use a 5-way DIL switch selects the tone required. The settings for the standard tones are shown in table
(reffered to Technical Manual)
BEACON
1. Unscrew and remove the 6 off M8 screws (6.0mm hexagon key) holding the cover assembly to the base.
2. Lift the cover assembly away from the base of the enclosure to gain access to the interior.
3. Cable termination should be in accordance with specifications applying to the required application
4. The operating voltage of the unit is stated on the unit label. The unit can be powered directly only
5. Record the all activity according Sounder-Beacon function test

4. Confirm and verify the tag number is provide by vendor as per scope.
B FUNCTION TEST
1. An external power supply is required to operate the transmitter.
2. Remove the terminal block cover (if applicable).
3. Cable termination must be follow standard wiring (reffered to Instruction Manual).
4. Check power supply to detector, the supply voltage between 12-42Vdc, nominal 24Vdc.
5. From the home screen display, select Loop Test menu and choose Analog Output
6. Connect an external ampere meter in series with the transmitter loop (so the power to the transmitter goes
goes through the meter at some point in the loop.)
7. In the test loop, check that the transmitters actual mA output and the HART mA reading are the same value.
If the readings do not match, either the transmitter requires an output trim or the current meter is malfunction.
8. After completing the test, the display returns to the loop test screen and allows the user to choose End menu.
9. Record the all activity according gas detector function test.
