Benedictions.

A benediction (Latin: bene, well + dicere, to speak) is a short

invocation for divine help, blessing and guidance, usually at the end of worship
service. The Hebrew word for blessing, benediction; b'rakhah, pl. B'rakhahkhot,
comes from berekh ("knee"), thus making a connection between worship and kneeling.
To "make a B'rakhah" is to say a blessing, to bless. Benedictions are what God
does for people. The most famous of all benedictions is probably this one. "The
Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be
gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee
peace." (Numbers 6:24-26.) Here are some other well known blessings in the bible,
scriptures, or word of God. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall
preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from

the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great
