UPDATE! Thi s questi on i s not marked as answered, as the i ssue i s a new 'feature' of Fi refox 22, and i f you read al l the comments you'd see that. Cl earl y, wi th the l arge vol ume of 'new' answers comi ng i n sayi ng
the same thi ng over and over, peopl e aren't, so I'l l say i t here: THERE IS NO NEED TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION ANY MORE.
I recentl y asked about my UI bei ng bi g and fuzzy, and managed to get that fi xed i n the about:confi g, but websi tes are sti l l bi g.
For some reason, the defaul t zoom (ctrl +0) i s at 120%.
I tri ed the Ful l Zoom and NoSqui nt addons, but both had one i ssue. They messed up the top l evel i mage vi ew (whi ch for me works wi th the ol d defaul t i mage styl e addon) and made the unzoomed i mage a bi t
bi gger than my screen, and the magni fyi ng gl ass i con whi ch shoul d appear wi th a + or - i n i t when I mouse over the i mage i s j ust a regul ar mouse poi nter i nstead.
How can I reset the defaul t zoom to be 100% (or preferabl y about 80% because even 100 seems to be overcompensati ng for my hi gh dpi screen) wi thout an addon messi ng up my defaul t i mage vi ew?
Further detai l s. If I di sabl e the 'ol d defaul t i mage styl e' addon, the top l evel i mage vi ew works fi ne wi th the NoSqui nt or Ful l Zoom addons.

The l ayout.css.devPi xel sPerPx. does not affect the zoom l evel on websi tes, i t onl y worked on the UI. Thi s was the thi ng I meant when I sai d the about:confi g.
I haven't tri ed changi ng the Wi ndows setti ng, but as far as possi bl e, I'd l i ke to avoi d i t, as i t may make menus and other OS el ements more di fi cul t to use.

I al so have a hi gh dpi screen and am not happy wi th thi s update i n v.22. As a web devel oper, I absol utel y l ove Fi refox otherwi se.
In my experi ence, I can use l ayout.css.devPi xel sPerPx = 1.0 to fi x the zoom i ssue for websi tes but now I can't read the UI text because i t's so smal l .
Surely the default zoom (no zoom) should render a 200px image as 200px.
It woul d make sense to be abl e to control the zoom of the UI i ndependentl y from the zoom of the webpage.
Yes I coul d change the font si ze setti ng i n Wi ndows but i f I do that everythi ng el se goes ti ny.
Pl ease Fi refox devs, fi x i t so that 200px means 200px by defaul t and al l ow the user to zoom i n and out i f they want to. I bel i eve thi s i s what most of us woul d expect.

Yes, the addon causi ng i ssues wasn't NoSqi nt or Ful l Zoom, i t was the Ol d Defaul t Image Vi ew, used WITH NoSqui nt or Ful l Zoom.
I fi xed i t by turni ng of ol d i mage vi ew, but I real l y hate the new top l evel i mage wi th the dark background and the centred page, whi ch i s why I coul d do wi th al l these addons worki ng together. For now, I'l l have

If web pages sti l l need to be adj usted then you can l ook at the Defaul t Ful l Zoom Level or NoSqui nt extensi on to set a general zoom l evel for websi tes.
Thank you.

After i nstal ati on newest FF versi on (22) al l pages are rendered wi th bi gger font si ze than wi th previ ous FF (21) versi on. It i s very annoyi ng as at every page I'm vi si ti ng I need manual l y adj ust ("Ctrl " -) proper font
si ze.
I found thi s i nformati on: "fi refox 22 i s now respecti ng the pi xel densi ty you've set on a systeml evel i n the wi ndows control panel > appearance > di spl ay."
I don't understand why i t was done. I have bigger than default (120%) pixel density because I want to have bigger fonts in UI, but only in UI, not in the web content. I ful l y agree wi th asafi sk words: "Pl ease
Fi refox devs, fi x i t so that 200px means 200px by defaul t and al l ow the user to zoomi n and out i f they want to. I bel i eve thi s i s what most of us woul d expect."
Changi ng property "l ayout.css.devPi xel sPerPx" to 1.0 isn't solution as I don't want to change FF UI font si ze but web content font si ze!
I'm aski ng how may I get web pages l ooki ng correctl y wi th FF22?

Mi shGEA,
Totally agree this was an asinine thing to do. I struggled with this for hours and it is exceptionally annoying (at best) to have Firefox autoadjust like it does.
Everything is no blurry and my own website looks awful. Going back to 21
I do sympathi se but It i s unwi se to use an unsupported versi on of Fi refox. It i s i nsecure and i ncreases ri sk to your personal data and to your System.
Instal l an ol der versi on of Fi refox
May I suggest a better al ternati ve may be to fol l ow the i nstructi ons gi ven i n some of the l i nks above. In parti cul ar pl ease note that usi ng about:confi g
http://kb.mozi l l azi ne.org/About:confi g
and changi ng the preference l ayout.css.devPi xel sPerPx val ue from -1.0 to 1.0 may be the maj or change between Fi rfox 21and 22 that i s causi ng a probl em and can be reversed.
To modi fy i t do the fol l owi ng:
Type about:config i nto the Fi refox address bar and tap on the Enter key.
If the warni ng This might void your warranty appears, cl i ck I'll be careful, I promise.
Search for layout.css.devPixelsPerPx
Doubl e-cl i ck on l ayout.css.devPi xel sPerPx to modi fy i ts val ue. The defaul t i s -1.0 i n Fi refox 22 and above. Change i t to 1.0 to make i t work l i ke i n previ ous Fi refox versi ons.
There are further tweaks possi bl e but that i s the mai n change.
