A Guide to Cash.

net
Version 1.0
For all heisters, criminals, robbers and gangsters out there

This guide has been written by Mr. Payday, owner and founder of
Cash.net, Friends.net and Cash.net Secret Hunters.

PAYDAY and all of its contents all belong to OVERKILL Software and Starbreeze Studios. This guide has
purely been made for educational and entertainment purpose and we do not gain any money from it. If
you have paid for this guide, please contact Mr. Payday.

Introduction
Cash.net is a private, invite-only crew that focuses on the virtual heisting games, PAYDAY:
The Heist and PAYDAY 2. All of us are professional and respectful players, closely in contact
with OVERKILL Software developers and the PAYDAY community. Most of us are veteran
PAYDAY: The Heist players aswell. Together we try to help to improve the game and the
community and at the same time pull heists in a professional way where no one gets hurt.
Cash.net already exists since one month after the release of the first game (PAYDAY: The
Heist), except it was a fairly small crew back then and the only owner was Mr. Payday. We also
had another name back then and werent really known among the community. Then on the 1
st

of August 2013, during the PAYDAY 2 Beta, Mr. Payday met up with 3 other nice guys and
together they came up with this improved crew, with a brand-new name and everything. So
officially our founding date is the 1
st
of August, 2013.
This guide has been written to give you guys some basic knowledge about Cash.net, including
personal information aswell, so you wont just see us as those guys wearing that tag. We have
even included some inside information in this guide, so this is surely worth reading.
I hope you enjoy reading the guide and that you may gather enough information about us from
it. If you do wish to know more about us or have questions after reading the guide, please
contact one of our admins through our Steam group page.
- Mr. Payday, owner and founder of Cash.net

Cash.net seems to be a group of perfectionists that play by strict rules and seem to have a lot of
skill. Also their group is pretty small. Kinda like Shaolin monks living on a mountain.
- A wise community member

I. Why are we invite-only?
We have chosen for an invite-only structure, instead of being a public group that anyone can
join. This is to prevent different kinds of people from joining us, such as:
Trollers
Cheaters
Random people that are not interested in PAYDAY
Negative people that are offending others inside and/or outside the group
Immature people or children
Ofcourse when youre part of a group or clan, you are representing those people and most of
the times wearing their tag aswell. We do not want people to destroy our name by doing such
things as mentioned above. We also have some strict requirements required to join. This is
because we would like to stay a professional heisting group with respect for everyone. To see
our joining requirements and house rules, go to section II and section III.
Theres already enough public PAYDAY groups out there. Most of the times theres a lot of
drama in these groups and eventually they explode when they get thousands of members and
completely fall apart. They have a lot of children, cheaters and trollers which give them a bad
name. And they cannot do anything about it, since the group is so big they cant control all of
their members. Thanks to our tight structure and invite-only system this is not going to
happen to us.
We have also chosen to hold a maximum amount of members, which is 50 at the moment, but
we want to keep this at a maximum of 100 eventually. We currently have about 30 members.
The larger PAYDAY groups have hundreds and hundreds of members, sometimes even
thousands. This makes you become more like a number than a name. When you have
about 50 people however, almost everyone knows eachother personally and talks to eachother
regularly. This way you get a way better environment and group atmosphere. Its better to have
a compact group and have fun with everyone, than just sitting there as number 3193 and not
knowing anyone.

6

II. Joining requirements and joining procedure
In order to join Cash.net, you need to go through a pretty long joining procedure. Before you
can go through this procedure, you first need to meet the following requirements:
Mature behavior, with the ability to play without trolling.
Skilled player, capable of beating every heist on the OVERKILL difficulty and even on
the Death Wish difficulty.
Nice and respectful to other Cash.net members and the PAYDAY community.
Be an active PAYDAY: The Heist and/or PAYDAY 2 player and active in the Cash.net
group aswell after joining. Optionally being active in the PAYDAY community will give
you a higher chance of joining.
A pretty large amount of playtime and a pretty high level in PAYDAY 2. We are aiming
for people with atleast 200 to 300 hours or more playtime and atleast Infamy level 2 or
3. If you however are only Infamy level 1 but are skilled for your level, you can still be
invited in.
You have to own a headset or microphone to use over a voice communication program,
or in-game voice chat. Skype or TeamSpeak is a pro.
No VAC bans on record on your Steam account and no cheating history in either
PAYDAY: The Heist or PAYDAY 2. And yes, this includes cheated achievements
through SAM (Steam Achievement Manager).
Proper English skills obviously, because its our main communication language.
Mature behavior and not under the age of 16.
The usage of the [Cash.net] tag will be required when you have been invited and you
are representing us while doing so, so always follow the rules and be respectful.
After you meet these requirements you can contact either Mr. Payday or one of the moderators
or admins within Cash.net. These will play your information through to Mr. Payday who will
add your name to a so-called waiting list. When we think its time to invite new members, we
may eventually contact you through Steam. After that you can either join for a proof period of
2 weeks, after which you can permanently stay with us if we agree with that, or you can go
through a couple of small tests and if you complete those you will be accepted into the
group.
For the tests we want you to complete a series of heists in different ways, including loud and
stealth, on the OVERKILL and Death Wish difficulty. Sometimes we give you some additional
objectives aswell. At the end we will look at your accuracy, amount of kills etc. before we will
agree with accepting you.
Another way of joining is through a friend within Cash.net who refers you to Mr. Payday or an
admin. You will then still need to meet the requirements though, but requests from friends of
our members get a higher priority.
After everything has been approved and completed, you will still need to be approved by the
Cash.net Council, then sign our official Cash.net Contract and then you finally belong to
the group. For more information about the Cash.net Council, see section V.
7

III. Our house rules
We have a lot of rules and some may seem very strict to you, but theyre just here to ensure
that everyone has a very good experience within Cash.net or when dealing with Cash.net
members.
Things we do not like:
Trolling
Offensive language/harassing other members or players
Immature behavior
Disrespecting other players
Flaming and hating
Cheating
Cloakers kicking you in the back
Things we DO like:
Professional and serious heisting
Team spirit
Mature behavior with respect for other players
Politeness and kindness (be a Sir)
Helpful and skilled players
Having fun with eachother
Group events and group chats
Lots and lots of cash (to put in the net, duh)
..and ofcourse: flying helmets!
Well then.. that wasnt too bad right? Aslong as you follow these rules, you will remain one of
our respected members. After breaking one we will give you a warning. Breaking one for the
second time you will get your final warning and a third time will result in (permanent) removal
from our group. We are a mature and professional group and thats also how we want everyone
in our group to act.

Our great friend, the Cloaker

8

IV. Cash.net infrastructure
In Cash.net we use a hierarchic form for our members. We wont be going to deep into this.
Please refer to the following hierarchic tree, as it will explain exactly how our structure is
within Cash.net:

Important notice: this structure is subject to change and may already be outdated

9

V. The Cash.net Council
The following information has been taken from the Cash.net Steam community forums.
What is the Cash.net Council?
The Cash.net Council is a council that exists of Mr. Payday and 4 other respected Cash.net
members that have been a member for a pretty long time. The Council is neutral in all cases
and operates democratically.
What does the Cash.net Council do?
The Cash.net Council has an advising role. The Cash.net Council has the final decision in
the following matters:

Handling personal issues between members of the group
Accepting new (major) ideas for the expansion and improvement of Cash.net
For temporarily or permanently removing members from the group
Accepting a new Cash.net member or making someone a permanent Cash.net
member after the proof period
Once atleast 3 people have voted 'Yes' or 'No' in a case - so that means the majority of the
Council members - the majority of the votes will be counted as the final decision in the case.
Why has the Cash.net Council been started?
We felt that this council was necessary for the group. We've had some issues within our group,
like any other group, and we would like to take care of those issues in a democratic way. This
means neither Mr. Payday or any other moderator or admin has the final decision, but there
will be voted democratically for a fair outcome.
Who are members of the Cash.net Council?
The Council currently has 5 veteran Cash.net members from different nationalities and with
different viewpoints, so that the voting goes the most honestly.
The current members are:
Mr. Payday - The Netherlands
Logan Walker Russia
Villain - United States
Twitch Australia
Durandil - France
Once Cash.net gains more members in total, there will be added more members to the
Council.
The Council will always have an uneven amount of members so that there's never a draw while
voting.

10

How does a Cash.net member join the Cash.net Council?
You will be picked as a member of the Council by one of the admins or moderators, once the
time is there.
For now, 5 members will be enough, but more members will be added to the Council in the
future, when Cash.net grows in the amount of members.
For picking members for the Council, we usually choose the people in Cash.net who are the
most dedicated and have been members for a long time.

Our council during a meeting (yeah, were getting old)

11

VI. Our members
In this section we will handle all of our current members, each with a short but detailed
description. They are arranged on order of joining date (oldest-newest).
Important notice: please notice that our members list is subject to change, this
members list may already be outdated

#1 Mr. Payday
Real name: Martijn, but you can call me Marty
Location: The Netherlands (and Washington D.C. obviously)
Favorite heister: Dallas
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/mrpayday/
The founder, owner and leader of Cash.net. Not much is known
about Mr. Payday, except that hes a veteran heister, back from
the The Heist days. He wrote a couple of well-known community
guides and is very active within the PAYDAY community. Hes
also spent hundreds of hours on discovering the PAYDAY 2 Secret
and is probably the furthest in the Secret hunt so far. He is also
the official Dutch translator for the game. Oh, and his favorite
color is blue.

#2 Villain
Real name: Robert
Location: Texas, USA
Favorite heister: Chains
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/CreasyBear/
Villain is the oldest Cash.net member that is still in the group.
Hes our most respected member and a good friend. Mr. Payday
and Villain met eachother during the PAYDAY 2 Beta and shortly
after that Cash.net was created and Villain got invited. He
accepted and now theyre still heisters for life.

12

#3 Twitch
Real name: Twitch (yeah, no joke)
Location: Australia
Favorite heister: Wolf / Old Hoxton
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198105553178/
As you can see there is a pretty big gap between the joining date
of Villain and Twitch. This is because all members that joined in
August and the end of 2013 have left our group due to loss of
interest and other various reasons. Twitch was our first new asset
and the start of a new Cash.net, as some things changed after
this and the amount of members started growing again. Twitch is
a terrible driver, but an awesome heister. Mr. Payday was
scouting the forums for potential new member and then he met
this guy who was taking Kung Bo employees hostage. Hes well-
known from his famous quote: Grabbing popcorn which he even got banned for saying once.

#4 LuckyCharm (Ex-member)
Real name: Dean
Location: Australia
Favorite heister: Chains
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/TaserChains/
LuckyCharm is probably a great fan of cereals. Although, hes not
just sitting and eating cereals all day! Most of the day hes busy
shooting cops and gangsters and in his spare time he works on
cool PAYDAY cartoons and videos. And as you can see to the left
here, hes also great at cosplay.

13

#5 Dreadbeard
Real name: Todd
Location: Australia
Favorite heister: Hoxton
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/CashNetDreadbeard
Dreadbeard is our graphics designer and hes also the one who
made all of our awesome avatars and online forums. Hes also co-
admin of Cash.net and Friends.net and a very lively heister. As
you can see to the left here, hes always got a grin on his face and
is always laughing and having fun. Dont let that fool you; he can
kill 100 cops within just a few minutes!

#6 Durandil
Real name: Samuel
Location: France
Favorite heister: Chains
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198092181015/
Our very own devil from France. I hope you didnt get a heart
attack from his avatar! Are you still with us? Okay, there we go.
Durandil is a very good heister and our very first French
crewmember, with about 1000 hours of playtime in PAYDAY 2.
Hes also a really nice guy and loves making jokes and having fun.
You can also find him on the PAYDAY forums a lot, he loves to
debate. Hes well-known from his famous quote: I GO QQ
FORUM MAN!.

14

#7 Private Mitchell
Real name: A man of many names
Location: Russia
Favorite heister: Chains
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Soap125/
Our first Russian member. Private Mitchell is a man of many
names and usually doesnt have the same name for longer than 2
weeks. Hes a poet, writer and storyteller and great at that.
Besides being a Shakespeare hes not afraid to kill some cops and
write a story about THAT. And after that he drinks some vodka in
the Tasteful club with Vlad and our other Russian members
ofcourse! Theyre going as hard as a f*cking Sputnik!

#8 Titanium Moonwalker
Real name: Ajelito
Location: France
Favorite heister: Unknown
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198078185232
Titanium Moonwalker is our second frenchie. He loves baguettes,
French fries, stinky cheese and Citron cars. Nah, just kidding.
Titanium has a ton of hours in the game and is a very dedicated
heister. Hes currently a bit inactive because of real-life issues, but
will surely pick it back up very soon!

15

#9 Labcat
Real name: Richard
Location: Sweden
Favorite heister: Dallas / Old Hoxton
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Labcat/
Labcat is a polite, kind fellow Sir. He loves hanging around in the
PAYDAY forums and discussing with other people. Hes also a
great singer and artist. You should hear him sing Disney film
theme songs, or the Swedish national anthem!

#10 Fallout
Real name: Jeff
Location: Australia
Favorite heister: Anyone with a gas mask
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197969339654/
The guy with the gas mask. When you see him coming you better
put on a gas mask yourself, because before you know it the room
is full of Fallout gas! No one knows what he looks like, because
he always wears a gas mask. Not sure why they call him Fallout,
because Gasmask would be more appropriate.

16

#11 Sir Mossy
Real name: Jack
Location: United States of Murica
Favorite heister: Chains
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198057671788/
Dont let his standard Steam profile avatar fool you! This guy has
almost 1000 hours in PAYDAY 2 and is a real Sir (see name).
Naturally, we have a lot of Sirs in Cash.net, but Mossy takes his
Sir rank very seriously. Better not disrespect his Sir status, or he
will come after you with an entire heisting crew!

#12 Cruzz
Real name: Henrik
Location: Norway
Favorite heister: Wolf
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/ImCruZz/
Cruzz is one of our dedicated heisters and is also the guy who is
going to handle our livestream sessions. Hes fun to play and talk
with. Hes also close friends with RedCobra, another big PAYDAY
streamer. He hates Skype and is a great TeamSpeak fanboy.
Cruzz is such a dedicated heister that he started a new Steam
account and started PAYDAY 2 from scratch there!

17

#13 Super Hadron
Real name: Sandvich Man
Location: US
Favorite heister: Sandvich Man
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/superhadron/
Hadron loves sandviches and Gabe Newell. Hes also a great
heister. No more information is required. Oh wait, he had this
cool quote aswell: When Valve learns to count to 3, then the very
fabric of the space-time continuum will rip open a hole in the gap
of the Untempered Schism will release the Combine and the aliens
of Xen upon us and a flying blue box will fly out of a time vortex
carrying a doctor and Gordon Freeman. They will then fight the
aliens and the Combine and restore all peace to the Universe then
Gabe will order Denny's biggest burger and once he takes the first
bite, someone will divide by zero and the whole Universe goes bang.

#14 Headache
Real name: Classified
Location: Australia
Favorite heister: Unknown
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198018139003/
Headache is the person with the most playtime in Cash.net and
probably also the person with the most playtime in the ENTIRE
WORLD! He has close to 2000 (!!) hours of playtime, which is all
real playtime (except for coffee breaks and stuff you know).
Maybe thats also why he has a headache (bad joke). Well, better
not be messing with him, or he will give YOU a headache!

18

#15 Schwoops
Real name: Ash
Location: Australia
Favorite heister: Dallas
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198066328434/
Another Aussie, friend of Dreadbeard and Twitch (but hey, all
Australian heisters know those two, infamy yknow). Except he
has a German name. If you can prenounce it I will steal a lootbag
in your name (no joke)! Schwoops likes to steal money, kill cops
and rob banks. Well, we all like to do that.. right?

#16 Frank Martin
Real name: Steve
Location: Australia
Favorite heister: Wolf
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198081775205/
Frank Martin reminds me of Father Martin from the Outlast
game series, but I think hes a bit more.. sane. In his spare time
Frank likes heisting and also playing Counter Strike games. If hes
really as quick and dangerous as the guy from the Transporter
films, you better watch out!

19

#17 Satanic Wolf
Real name: Joe
Location: Murica
Favorite heister: Dallas
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198009615275/
Watch out for this wolf, because hes satanic! He will eat you alive
and his eyes will freeze you when you look right into them.
Instead of hunting in a pack he usually hunts alone. Better not
make him angry or he will jump on you and devour you alive! And
his favorite character aint even Wolf..

#18 Mr. Kpbis
Real name: Andrey
Location: Russia
Favorite heister: Chains / Old Hoxton
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/splitre/
Mr. Kpbis is our second Russian member. Its pretty hard to find
such good English-speaking Russians as him and our other
Russian members, but were very proud to have them.
Mr. Kpbis is also a fan of the first PAYDAY game, but arent we
all?

20

#19 Bammy
Real name: Rory Salmon
Location: Australia
Favorite heister: Unknown
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198067668387/
Another Aussie and our second gas mask guy. Not much is
known about him, but he surely is a dedicated heister. And yeah,
Rory Salmon is definitely his real name, because his Steam profile
says so!

#20 Ivan B
Real name: Probably Ivan (I cant read Russian)
Location: Russia
Favorite heister: Unknown
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/pick_d/
Our third Russian member. When you see his Steam avatar you
are already immediately confused: is it a cat? A rat? A panther? A
jaguar? And is he camouflaged? Or is that its natural fur color?
So many questions. So much pain. Oh and Ivan will surely bring a
lot of pain.. to the cops!

21

#21 Riqht
Real name: Henning
Location: Norway
Favorite heister: Chains
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Riqht
Yep, thats a Cloaker on the picture; dont you go running away
now! Everything Riqht does is well.. right. Right? Yeah, right.
Riqht doesnt fear Cloakers, instead he stabs them in the face with
an 8 inch blade (Actually not, he just shoots them in the face with
a Brenner 21, but that makes the story less cool for sure). Riqht is
our most recent member (at the moment of writing).

Well, those were all of our main members or veteran members! We are currently looking
for more solid heisters and they will be added to our member list very soon.
If you are also interested in joining Cash.net, please refer to section XXIV.
We also have a few OVERKILL employees in our group, which we are very happy with:
Almir
Danijel
Simon Viklund
Craj
Lele
George
GurillaOverkilla
We also have another few noteable members that have left us in the past because of loss of
interest or other real-life issues:
Sednal
Kapton Jack
Satirys
..and many more!
Finally, the four original founders of Cash.net:
Mr. Payday
Krubbmeister
Sir. Dolphin
HawkBR
22

VII. Our other groups
We currently own two other groups that are connected to Cash.net, which are Friends.net
and Cash.net Secret Hunters.
A short but detailed summary for both groups is found below:

Friends.net
Friends.net is a group for all friends and partners of Cash.net and
Cash.net members. First it was also invite-only like Cash.net and
all members were allowed to send invites to friends, but its
currently set to public. In Friends.net we will host our give-aways,
group chats and livestreams.

Link: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/cashnetsecrethunters

Cash.net Secret Hunters
Cash.net Secret Hunters is a group of about 50 dedicated secret
hunters for the PAYDAY 2 Secret. This includes Cash.net
members and trusted partners of Cash.net. It is currently invite-
only just like Cash.net and thats probably what it will stay aswell.
Or maybe we will open it to public once the Secret has been found.

Link: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/cashnetsecrethunters

23

VIII. Our partners
You cant live without partners in these harsh times! So many police raids after all those
robberies in D.C., you gotta have atleast a few partners in crime to back you up. We pick our
partners carefully based on multiple factors. In this section we will give you a short summary
of our partners.
Important notice: please be aware that this list may be outdated. These were our
partners at the time of writing.

Overkill Software
Ofcourse Overkill Software is our biggest partner. Overkill is the
best game developer in the entire Universe. They are the
developers of both PAYDAY: The Heist and PAYDAY 2; two
unique heisting games, available for PC, XBOX360 and PS3.
Overkill Software exists of about 40 employees who do their best
to keep delivering us new awesome free and paid content monthly.

Link: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/overkillsoftware

Heist Executives
Heist Executives is a dedicated PAYDAY crew that exists since the
10
th
of June, 2013. They are an open group with about 130
members. Although they are an open group, you cannot use their
tag without going through a joining procedure.
We have been partners with HEX since the 18
th
of April, 2014.

Link: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/Heistpro

24

The Secret Crew (Elite)
We are partners in crime with both the The Secret Crew main
group and the Elite group. The normal group is open for anyone
to join, while the Elite group is invite-only, where for you can only
get an invite if you are a skilled PAYDAY player. The Secret Crew
was officially the first PAYDAY clan that we partnered up with.
We have been partners with The Secret Crew (Elite) since the 29
th

of March, 2014.

Link: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/TheSecretCrew

Last Bullet Gaming Mods
Last Bullet Gaming Mods is the first official modder community
for PAYDAY 2 and also the best one! They have been officially
approved by OVERKILL and they make the best mods ever, such
as PAYDAY: The Heist masks imported into PAYDAY 2. They are
also the ones who created our official Cash.net mods for PAYDAY
2. For more information about that, see section XIV.
We have been partners with Last Bullet Gaming Mods since the
23
rd
of January, 2014.

Link: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/Lastbulletmods

Also interested in becoming a Cash.net partner? Please contact Mr. Payday or a Cash.net admin
to discuss this.

25

IX. The Secret
Cash.net does not only just play the game. Instead, Cash.net is also very dedicated in finding
the Secret in PAYDAY 2. They have been this dedicated in finding the Secret since the
PAYDAY 2 Beta, even though no one even talked about a possible second Secret back then.
Mr. Payday also started the Cash.net Secret Hunters group (see section VIII) and together
with Hedgehog he is the main contributor to the official PAYDAY 2 Secret Guide (see section
XV) which can be found in the PAYDAY 2 Community HUB.
Cash.net has so far spent thousands and thousands of hours looking around for clues in the
game, gathering information about different subjects, studying Bains guide, having brainstorm
sessions and group meeting about the Secret. Therefore we also think we make a very great
chance on being the first crew to find the second Secret.
Currently we do not share any of our gathered information so far with other parties, besides
Cash.net and Cash.net Secret Hunter group members.

We finally found the Secret. Looks like they were just some cookies..

26

X. Videos and livestreams
Cash.net currently does not host any livestreams, but this is soon about to change. The same
counts for YouTube videos. We have been very busy lately with organizing other stuff for our

XI. Cash.net Points Reward System
Recently weve added a Points Reward system to Cash.net. Another benefit of being a
Cash.net member. The following information has been taken straight from our Steam
Community forums.

Introduction
Welcome to the Cash.net Points Reward System!
As of the beginning of May, 2014, you can now earn "Cashnetz" for doing general, or specific
things!
Below here is a list of things you can do to earn points. A specific topic will be created this
Sunday, which will have all of the members' current points. After that, the points amount for
every member will be updated every 2 weeks, on every sunday.

How to earn points
Once you have completed/done one of the things mentioned in this topic, you can reply to this
topic by filling in the following form:
Kind of completion:
Date and time of completion:
Proof of completion (optional):
Sometimes proof of completion is required. This counts for things such as purchasing the DLC
or when you make an image about Cash.net or such.
Your points will be awarded within a few days and will be registered in the 'points leaderboard'
every 2 weeks on a Sunday, as mentioned above.

Ways of earning points
Using the tag - 1 point per day
Proof required: me on your friendslist (Mr. Payday)
If you are wearing our tag everyday, you will automatically receive 14 points every 2 weeks!
Watch out: this also works negatively! If you do not wear the tag, you will lose 1 point every
day.

28

Playing PAYDAY - 1 point per in-game hour
Proof required: a public Steam profile
You earn one point for every hour you play either PAYDAY: The Heist and/or PAYDAY 2.
These points can stack together!

Earning achievements - 1 point per achievement
Proof required: a public Steam profile
You earn one point for every achievement you get in either PAYDAY: The Heist and/or
PAYDAY 2. Achievements you already own also reward you with points.

Group meetings/events - 10 points for participating
Proof required: (optional) screenshot of being in the group chat room
You will receive 10 points for every official Cash.net group chat/group meeting you will attend
to. Only official ones, announced or approved by Mr. Payday count.

Forum posts - 1 point per post
Proof required: none
For every post you make on our official Cash.net forums (on the internet, not the Steam ones)
you will receive 1 point.

Recruiting members - 50 per Cash.net member, 5 per Friends.net member
Proof required: the name of the invited member(s)
You will receive 50 points for inviting a Cash.net member and getting approved and 5 points
for a Friends.net member. Approval from Mr. Payday is required before the 50 points will be
awarded.

Partnerships - 50 points per partnership
Proof required: a confirmation message from the owner of the other group or chatlog
If you set up a partnership with another PAYDAY related crew or group, you will be awarded
50 points! Please do not contact any other groups or crews without the approval or Mr. Payday
first, though.
29

Donations - 10 points per donated euro/dollar
Proof required: a transaction receipt
When you donate to our official PayPal account, you will receive 10 points for every dollar/euro
donated, which will be spend on improving Cash.net and our services! Ask Mr. Payday for the
official donation link.

Cash.net Fanwork - 5-30 points per 'fanwork'
Proof required: the fanwork itself ofcourse
If you create something cool related to Cash.net or featuring Cash.net, you can submit it by
using the form mentioned above in this topic, and after approval you will receive your points!
Points will be awarded based on quality of the fanwork and how long it took you to make
(averagely).
A few examples of fanworks:
* Custom Cash.net (member) avatar
* A Cash.net cartoon
* A Cash.net GMOD creation
* A Cash.net GIF
* Cash.net Pixel Art
* Cash.net Music (i.e. themesong or Cash.net tune)
* A short (fictional) story featuring Cash.net or Cash.net members
* A poem about Cash.net
* A Cash.net creation in another videogame
* A Cash.net drawing (in real life)
* A Cash.net mod
And as a bonus reward, if the fanwork is of great quality, it will also be featured on our group
page!

YouTube Videos - 10-20 points for unedited gameplay footage without commentary OR
20-40 points for edited ones (including commentary)
Proof required: link to the video
A minimum of 1-2 minutes of gameplay is required, aswell as the video being in HD, atleast
720p and 30FPS. The video will need to be approved by Mr. Payday before you will be allowed
to upload it to our YouTube channel. You can also ask Mr. Payday for the YouTube login
details. Points will be awarded depending on the length and quality of the video. Videos can be
about PAYDAY: The Heist and PAYDAY 2. They could also be videos featuring Cash.net or
PAYDAY 2 in another game or universe, instead of the PAYDAY one (so it doesn't have to be
just gameplay footage).
30

Twitch Streaming - 10-20 points per hour streamed
Proof required: atleast one 'witness'
10-20 points will be awarded per hour streamed on our official Twitch.tv Cash.net channel.
You will need approval from Mr. Payday before streaming. He can also provide you with the
login details and streaming key. The points will be awarded depending on the quality of the
stream and whether it contains one or multiple giveaways or not. You can either stream
PAYDAY: The Heist or PAYDAY 2. Please be advised that it shouldn't lag or be of bad quality,
or it will not be approved.

Friends.net Events/Giveaways - 10-60 points per event/giveaway
Proof required: atleast one 'witness'
For events and giveaways hosted in the Friends.net group, you will receive 10-60 points,
depending on the type and length of the event and the thing(s) that is/are being given away.
When the total value of the items being given away is higher than $50, you will receive a total
amount of 100 points! Please ask permission to Mr. Payday before hosting an event or giveaway
in Friends.net.

Community Guides - 10-50 points per guide
Proof required: a link to the Guide
If you write a Guide in the (general) name of Cash.net, or featuring Cash.net, you can receive
10-50 points, depending on the quality and length of the Guide.

Acquiring DLC - 25 points per purchased DLC
Proof required: a transaction receipt
You will receive 25 points for every PAYDAY 2 DLC that you will buy or have bought. A
transaction receipt is necessary for redeeming the points.

The Daily Dallas Thread - 5 points per day
Proof required: just posting there is enough
If you go here (linky) and post one Dallas smiley in the thread every day, you will receive 5
points a day just for doing so! You can post multiple times, but new points will only be
awarded after every new 24 hours.

31

Weekly Challenges
We will also host Weekly Challenges, which can provide you with a massive amount of points
by completing them!
As an example we had this as a challenge for our first week:
Kill 300 enemies in one single game, on Hard difficulty or higher. Any map is allowed. Reward:
50 points!
Proof required: the screenshot of your stats screen uploaded to your Steam profile. Post the
link as proof.

How to redeem points and what are the rewards?
For now you will only be able to earn the 'Cashnetz', but from near end May 2014 on you will
be able to spend them in our special Cash.net Online Store! You will be able to redeem them
for items such as PAYDAY 2 DLC, Steam trading cards, backgrounds, smilies and other various
Steam games. With lots of more cool stuff to come in the future to redeem your points for! So
be patient until then and start collecting them points, so you can spend them immediately by
the end of May!

Where can I view my Cashnetz amount?
We will maintain a topic on our Steam group forums which will hold your total points balance,
ordered on amount (person with highest total point amount at the top). So these points will
also earn you respect, if you are being featured in the 'Lifetime Top 3'! The leaderboards will
hold the amount of points that have been earned during your lifetime in Cash.net and will not
decrease when spending, so that everyone can see how dedicated you are and have been!

In the beginning this points system may seem confusing, but after all we think it was a great
addition to our group, and every new member gets access to this points system and can
eventually trade in these points for some awesome rewards!

32

XII. Give-aways, groupchats and events
We will regularly do give-aways, hold massive group chats and host events such as livestreams
and launch parties for DLCs. This will all be hosted in our Friends.net group (see section VII).
Here is a short summary for the kind of events we will be hosting regularly.
Give-aways
Every now and then we will do give-aways in the group. These give-aways will contain rewards
such as DLC keys for PAYDAY 2, but also other Steam keys, emoticons, backgrounds and
cards. Give-aways will either be hosted in the group chat or in an announcement where you
have to comment for a chance to win. Give-aways for groupchats will be announced 2 weeks in
advance.
Groupchats
Sometimes we will host a massive group chat where we will have a lot of fun together. Most of
the times we start one 2-3 hours before a new DLC releases. Once a group chat starts, you will
receive an announcement to join the group chat. Sometimes we also plan an event if we know
when its going to be exactly. Sometimes we also sneak in some sweet DLC keys, so be sure to
pay attention in the group chat!
Events
We will host different kinds of events in Friends.net. And with events we mean things such as
a livestream that you can attain to, or a special tournament or quiz. Sometimes we will also
host Cash.net Recruitment Sessions, where we will look for any potential new Cash.net
members. An interesting thing to pay attention to!

For all these events you will need to be a member of our group Friends.net (see section VII). If
you are not a member of this group you cannot participate in any of our events, group chats or
give-aways (except livestreams).

XIII. Our website and forums
Cash.net also has an official website and online forums. The website is currently being worked
on, but our PAYDAY-styled forums are completely accessible. To anyone in fact! If you are
interested in having a look, you can visit us here:
www.cashnetforums.com
After you have registered, you can immediately join Cash.net members, Friends.net
members and other PAYDAY fans at our discussion boards; discussing a large amount of varied
subjects.
Sometimes we will also hold special events or give-aways on our forums which wont be
announced in our groups, so be sure to keep an eye on them!

XIV. Official Cash.net mods for PAYDAY 2
Thanks to the awesome Last Bullet Gaming Mods group, we have received some really sweet
visual modifications for PAYDAY 2!
These modifications include:

Specially designed armor, covered with our Cash.net logo
Custom suits with varying colors
All these modifications are exclusively available to Cash.net members. Every new Cash.net
member will also receive access to these awesome mods.

XV. Featured guides
Cash.net has done major contributions to two different PAYDAY 2 Community Guides so far.
Especially Mr. Payday has spent a lot of work on these two.
Here we will give a short description for these two Guides and where you can find them.
Notice: sorry for the low quality images down here.

The PAYDAY 2 Secret Guide
This Guide focuses on finding the Secret in PAYDAY 2. The first
game also had a very big Secret ARG, which was very fun to
participate in. Because of many hints we also believe the second
game might have a large Secret aswell. Mr. Payday has spent
hundreds and hundreds of hours just working on this Guide and
gathering information. Unfortunately this Guide also has a few
ghost contributors. The only real major contributors to this
Guide are: Mr. Payday, BMSTU_Hedgehog and Jim Bian. We
hope you can gather some basic information about the second
Secret from this Guide.

Gage Mod Courier Pack Guide & Locations
Mr. Payday has contributed together with Hobo Junior the
Heister, Cash.net members and a couple of other community
members to make this guide for the Gage Mod Courier Pack
DLC. It gives a basic explanation about everything around this
DLC works and it also holds most of the locations for the packs
for a lot of the heists.

XVI. Handling cheaters and trollers
We at Cash.net have a very strong stance against cheaters and cheating. This also includes
using an achievement manager to give yourself all of the achievements that we have worked
hard for. Under cheating we also count things that change your gameplay, such as letting you
not use any grenade in a heist. Also fun mods such as changing civilians into Bulldozers or
letting cops dance also count as cheating.
This has officially been stated by Almir from Overkill software a while back. You can find the
official stance on cheating here:
http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3162235
As you can see Almir also states here that it is illegal to cheat in private games. We totally
agree with this. If Overkill finds out you have been cheating, you will be permanently banned
from both the PAYDAY 2 Community HUB, aswell as the official PAYDAY 2 Steam forums.
We also try to help Overkill in finding cheaters. Therefore every cheater that we encounter in a
game, or cheated achievements we spot on a Steam account, will directly be reported to an
Overkill employee and/or a Steam forum moderator (whether this be a Valve employee or a
PAYDAY 2 voluntary moderator).
Visual mods such as custom HUDs and customized text or suits do NOT count as cheating and
therefore will also not be reported by us.
We also have no respect for trollers, who like to annoy other people or destroy someone elses
game. These people will immediately be kicked from our game and banned from our
friendslist. These people are also one of the reasons why we are an invite-only crew (see
section I).

37

XVII. Impersonators and fake groups
Unfortunately lately, because we are getting more known among the PAYDAY community, we
have encountered some fake groups impersonating us, or people wearing our tag or a similar
kind of tag, without being part of our group.
Whenever you encounter such an impersonator or impersonating group, please report this
person to Mr. Payday or any other Cash.net admin. This will be much respected by us if you
do so and we might even reward you for doing so.
How to see if it is a fake Cash.net group:
A fake Cash.net group will not have Mr. Payday as a member of the group
A fake Cash.net group will not have any other Cash.net members in their group
Please be sure to check if theres a group with a Mr. Payday in it, that its the real one. You
can do this by going to our official Cash.net group here:
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/cashnet, and seeing if that Mr. Payday has the same
SteamID.
If you think something is suspicious, please dont hold back on reporting this.

How to see if it is a fake Cash.net member:
Go to our official Cash.net group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/cashnet, and
check if the person is a member of that group. If he/she is not, he/she is NOT an official
Cash.net member.

How to see if someone is impersonating a Cash.net member:
Go to our official Cash.net group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/cashnet, and
check if the person that you think is being impersonated, has the same SteamID as the guy
that you think is the impersonator. You can do this by visiting a profile of one of our members
through our group page.

All people impersonating us or other people in the community will directly be reported to Valve.
Valve has stated that impersonating other people or groups online can result in being banned
from your Steam account.
38

XVIII. We love Old Hoxton!
Well... the title says it all! Pete Gold AKA Old Hoxton has been so nice to record a few
exclusive lines for us with his Hoxton voice.
You can listen to one of these lines right here:
http://picosong.com/et5q
Doesnt that sound awesome? This line will be used for our upcoming YouTube channel, that
is soon to be officially opened.
Maybe we will hear his voice back in the game one day!

Everyone knows him: Old Hoxton!

39

XIX. A poem about crybabies

Mr. Payday had contributed about 25 awesome poems for the PAYDAY 2 poem contest, but
unfortunately he hasnt won. Still, he thinks this poem about crybabies is still very relevant
and would like to add it to the Guide, just to have some fun. Hopefully you will enjoy it! If you
are interested in all of Mr. Paydays poems, you can contact him through Steam.
For maximum effect, please use this PAYDAY 2 Forum Bingo along with the poem:

You shouldnt have buffed this weapon man,
and why cant I customize my van?
Im just going to type this post,
although no one will read it, a few haters at most.
OVERKILL is too hard, come on.
Then why dont you play on Normal, you moron?
What time does the update come online?
As long as its not a new mask, its fine.
My Mosconi doesnt do enough damage,
please buff it, so I can cause more ravage.
The DLC is too expensive, make it cheaper please,
else I will stop playing your game and killing police.
Why does this update take so long to download?
Oh God, I got downed again in Transport: Crossroads.
40

My post got removed by a moderator, why?
I was just asking for First World Bank, sigh.
Why do I have to pay for Cloakers, and is it not for free?
you should read the DLCs description better, gee.
Cheaters and hackers are ruining our game,
and for reporting them, I want more fame.
I am so sick of farming Rats Proverkills,
I get a lot of experience, but it costs me too many dollar bills.
All the new content they add, shouldve already been there from the beginning,
they just want a lot of innings.
I want new heists, now, now, NOW!
Pay for my Rats please, Im not a cash cow.
Good job OVERKILL, but Im just saying this in a sarcastic way,
because thats just as fun as getting the color solid grey.
Oops, I posted in the wrong sub-forum again,
but it wasnt my fault, it was the fault of Bain.
This game sucks so hard, why did the host kick me?
Its because Im too pro for this game, you see?
I dont even play this game anymore, but I just had to post,
because Im angry at another random host.
I couldve googled this question, but no,
I want to turn this topic into a comedy show.
Can we have PVP or a zombie mode please?
Or maybe dual gatling gun wearing police?
This weapon needs a nerf for sure,
but Im trying to say it in a way which is very immature.
This game needs rocket launchers or a gatling gun,
else it is not enough fun.
Oh, did I mention First World Bank yet?
Yea, you did, its bedtime for you kid, please go to bed.
Wheres Old Hoxton then? Im going to start a petition!
Also, did I tell you already, I want at least 4 new missions and they should nerf the
technician.
Why did you nerf this weapon after all?
This is a huge downfall!
Now that youve read this all, youve completed the PAYDAY bingo,
now you could play another game like Lingo.
To all the crybabies on the forums, this is not offensive against anyone.
Just try to have some fun, and do another Bank run.

41

XX. The ancient magick of the Holy Winkyface
We, the veteran members at Cash.net all possess the powers of the holy winkyface. We have
learned this ancient magick from our glorious leader and dominator of many countries: Almir.
The Holy Winkyface is a very powerful spell that can immediately confuse or overwhelm the
person or multiple persons at who it is aimed at.
The Holy Winkyface is also very mystical and can leave you with many, many questions.
Encountering too many Holy Winkyfaces in a row, can result in insomnia, paranoia and
eventually seizures or even death.
Therefore we at Cash.net do not teach this ancient magick to people outside of our group, as
it may cause a lot of harm to a lot of people. We have stored this secret securely in our hidden
temple, located on the top of our mountains.

An encounter with a variation of the Holy Winkyface

42

XXI. PAYDAY-related puzzle
Here is a cool crossword puzzle for you guys to solve! It is related to PAYDAY and Cash.net.
We thought it was a cool little extra to include in our Guide, just like the last two sections, to
keep you a bit entertained and to not let this Guide be too boring and informative. You are
probably thinking now: what do I earn if I solve this crossword puzzle?. Well. You can submit
your answers to Mr. Payday and you will then be mentioned as a honorable person in our first
Cashletter that is coming soon (see section XXII). Good luck and have fun solving the
crossword puzzle!

Dont forget to submit your solved puzzle to Mr. Payday for a honorable mention!
43

XXII. The Cashletter
The Cashletter is the name for the upcoming virtual newspaper, containing lots of cool
PAYDAY related stuff!
In this virtual newsletter you will be able to find the following things:
Fake articles written as if they were from the PAYDAY universe
Real articles about PAYDAY2 updates, DLC etc.
Interviews with Cash.net members, Overkill employees and famous PAYDAY
Community members
Featured guides
PAYDAY-related puzzles (see section XXI)
Custom cartoons
..and much, much more!
So prepare yourselves! The first edition of the Cashletter is planned for early July this year,
and we are planning to release one every month!
We hope you will enjoy reading this virtual newspaper, as much as we love making it.
This newspaper will be published monthly in our Friends.net group, so be sure to keep an eye
on our announcements!
Cool articles, puzzles, cartoons, feedback and anything else that fits into the paper can be sent
to Mr. Payday. We do not publish anything without giving you a honorable mention ofcourse!

44

XXIII. The future of Cash.net
We see a bright future ahead of us at Cash.net. The first of August this year we will officially
be 1 year old, which we will celebrate ofcourse!
Besides being quite a successful group so far, within the year that we exist, we still have some
goals that we would like to reach:
Achieving a total of 50 professional members before 1 August, 2014 and 100 members
before the end of this year
Setting up a Cash.net Core group after we reach about 75 members
Hosting our first successful livestream
Publishing our first successful YouTube video
Receiving the official Overkill seal of approval and continued support from Overkill
in the future
Getting our own Cash.net graffiti in the game, just like many of the other major
PAYDAY crews
Finding the Secret (duhh)
We thank everyone that has helped us so far to reach our past goals and we also thank our
loyal members for being part of this awesome crew! And ofcourse we thank Overkill for their
continued support.

Cash.net salutes you!

45

XXIV. Fun facts
Twitch is actually a pretty bad driver in real-life aswell.
Mr. Payday is the official Dutch translator for PAYDAY 2.
Dreadbeard is an ammo thief. He would rather die than miss an ammo package on the
ground.
Cash.net has an average playtime in PAYDAY 2 of 600-700 hours per member.
Our member Headache has over 1600 hours of in-game playtime.
Mr. Kpbis is Russian for Mr. Rat.

Russia, Australia etc.
Almost every Cash.net member has played/plays the first PAYDAY game aswell.
Cash.net has never had any cheating members in the past, thanks to our strict rules
and invite-only system.
Cash.net is accompanied 7 Overkill employees in its group, including Almir and Simon
Viklund.
All members in Cash.net together have spent over 2500 hours in the search for the
PAYDAY 2 Secret so far.
Bains favorite color is blue.
Cash.nets most used heister is Chains.
Super Hadron is our youngest member with only 13 years old which is an exception to
our rules, but he acts very mature.
Our oldest member is Headache with 53 years old.
Our member Titanium Moonwalker has mysteriously went missing and has never
returned in the past 40 days, although he was a very active PAYDAY player.
On the same day as Cash.net was formed (August 1) the Old Swiss Confederacy was
also formed, back in 1291.
On August 1, 1981 MTV also started broadcasting their first music video in the US.
Cash.nets most played heist is the standard Bank Heist, but only if you do not count
Rats for farming Infamy levels.
Every Cash.net member has the Death Wish mask and only plays on the Overkill and
Death Wish difficulties.
Our member Labcat is the best singer in the world.
Private Mitchell was our first Russian member and is one of the best Russian players we
have ever met, plus his English is top-notch aswell.
This Guide has about 50 pages and about 10,000 words, written in only a few days by
only one person (Mr. Payday).
Our member Cruzz has started a second Steam account, from where he has started
PAYDAY 2 from scratch again.
Almir has used the holy winkyface more times in his life than there are cats on the
world.

It would be cool if the other major PAYDAY crews out there would also makes guides like this,
to give people from outside the group more inside into who they are and what they do. I
encourage any other PAYDAY crew to do so.
Theres also a Secret thing hidden in this guide. Can you find it? If you do, send it to Mr.
Payday to prove youre a real Secret hunter.
Once again, thanks for reading and keep those helmets flying!
