Greetings fellow Saints through Jesus Christ,
Ah! The glorious month of June. A time for us to enjoy all the life of nature around us. et
me share an important action gi!en us from our ord that also helps us "e fully ali!e and enjoy
life # forgi!eness. $orgi!eness is an act, not a feeling. Though it may generate feelings,
forgi!eness is an e%ercise of the will. &hen we forgi!e, we refuse to "e further damaged "y the
wrongdoing of others. A refusal to forgi!e is called a resentment. And the !ictim of
resentment is always the one who carries it. The people we refuse to forgi!e may neither 'now
nor care a"out our resentment. To hang onto a resentment is to har"or a thief in the heart. (y
the minute and the hour, resentment steals the joy we could treasure now and remem"er on
life)s journey. *esentments steal our energy to cele"rate life and to influence others as
messengers of grace rather than as am"assadors of doom. &e really !ictimi+e oursel!es when
we withhold forgi!eness. That)s why Jesus tell us to forgi!e. $orgi!eness is for our own good.
Today and each day, let us remem"er that forgi!eness is a gi!er and resentment is a ta'er. et
us see forgi!eness, "oth recei!ing and gi!ing, as God)s gift to us for in it we e%perience true
life.

month that she has been in the hospital awaiting the

battle hasn't been won yet and she is still in need of
