The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) is a sports stadium in the heart of Sydney,

Australia. It is used for Australian football, Test cricket, One Day International cricket,
some rugby league and rugby union matches.
Its the home ground for the New South Wales Blues cricket team and the Sydney
Swans of the Australian Football League. It is owned and operated by the SCG Trust
that also manages the Sydney Football Stadium located next door.
The ground originally opened in 1886, and has been developed to become the great
stadium it is today holding just over 44,000. The ground has five main stands
including two historic stands, the members and ladies stands.*

Seat Renew was contracted to restore 6,000 seats in the Victor Trumper stand
and the OReilly stand. The seats were Viva and Podium seats which had become
oxidised and dull from years of exposure to harsh UV rays and weather conditions.
The restoration was conducted onsite, at a convenient time for stadium operations.
The Seat Renew team were at SCG for 4 days ensuring that each and every seat
was restored to the highest possible standard. Seats were restored where they
stood with no need to remove them from the brackets. The amazing
transformation can be seen in the photos, dull faded seats are given a new lease
of life and restored to a similar condition as new.
