use in combination with the microcomputer -- controlled power source.

3 OPERATION
Function -- Control Synergic
This RCU is intended for setting of the wire feed motion in accordance with
the synergic curve as preset in the micro -- computer. Setting takes place by
means of potentiometer no. 1.
Wire feed (m/min)
The preset welding voltage is automatically obtained at a certain wire feed
setting.
Should this voltage turn out insatisfactorily, it can be accurately adjusted up
or down through potentiometer no. 2.

Function -- Control 5--Program
This RCU serves to recall the first five welding programs stored by the user
in the memory space of the control unit. These programs must be stored
under the numbers 1--5 in the memory, as the unit cannot be used for the
recalling of any programs with numbers 6--99.
The programs are recalled by means of a 5--position switch.
An accurate adjustment of the welding voltage can take place as needed
through the 2--position resilient switch for increase/decrease of the welding
voltage.

Control Synergic und 5--program sind zwei Fernbedienungsgerte, die
ausscliesslich fr die Verwendung zusammen mit der mikroprozessorge-
steuerten Stromquelle.

3 BETRIEB
Funktion -- Control Synergic
Dieses Fernbedienungsgert ist fr die Einstellung des Drahtvorschubs
gemss den im Microprozessor vorprogrammierten Synergielinien
vorgesehen. Die Einstellung erfolgt ber Potentiometer 1.
Drahtvorschub (m/min)
Bei einem gewissen eingestellten Drahtvorschub erhlt man automatisch
eine vorprogrammierte Schweisspannung.
Sollte es sich zeigen, dass diese Spannung nicht zufriedenstellend ist, kann
die Spannung ber Potentiometer 2 auf hhere oder niedrigere Werte
feineingestellt werden.

Funktion -- Control 5--Program
Diese Fernbediengert wird angewandt, um die fnf ersten
Schweissprogramme, die vom Anwender in den Speicher der Einheit
eingegeben wurden, zu widerrufen. Diese Programme mssen unter den
Nummern 1--5 im Speicher liegen, da dieses Gert nicht fr die Widerrufung
der Programme Nr. 6--99 benutzt werden kann.
Die Programme werden mit einem 5--Lage--Schalter abgerufen.
Evtl. erforderliche Feineinstellung der Schweisspannung kann mit dem
rckfedernden 2--Lage--Schalter fr Erhhung bzw. Senkung der
Schweisspannung durchgefhrt werden.

4 ERSATZTEILBESTELLUNG
Ersatzteile werden beim nchstgelegenen ESAB--Hndler bestellt. Siehe
letzte Seite dieser Dokumentation. Bei der Bestellung immer Maschinentyp,
Maschinennummer und Bezeichnungen sowie die entsprechende
Ersatzteilnummer in der Ersatzteilliste angegeben. Dies erleichtert die
Auftragsbearbeitung und gewhrleistet eine sichere Lieferung.

3 FONCTIONNEMENT
Fonctionnement--Control Synergic
Cette unit tlcommande est destine au rglage du dvidage selon la
ligne synergique prprogramme dans le micro--ordinateur. Le rglage se
fait par le potentiomtre 1.
Dvidage (m/min)
Avec un certain rglage du dvidage on obtient automatiquement la tension
de soudage prprogramme.
Si cette tension se prouve insatisfaisante elle peut tre rgle prcisement
vers lhaute ou la basse avec le potentiomtre 2.

Fonctionnement -- Control 5--Program
Cette unit tlcommande est utilise pour reproduire les premiers cinq
programmes de soudage, qui sont stocks par lutilisiur dans la section
mmoire de lunit. il faut que les prorammes en question sont numrots
1--5, car cette unit ne peut pas tre utilise pour reproduire des
programmes avec les numros 6--99.
Les programmes sont reproduises avec une interrupteur cinq positions.
Sil est ncessaire de rgler prcisement la tension de soudage ceci est
possible avec linterrupteur rpercutant deux positions pour augmentation
ou rduction de la tension de soudage.

4 COMMANDE DES PIECES DE RECHANGE
Les pices dtaches sont commandes au reprsentant ESAB le plus
proche. Voir la dernire page de ce manuel. Indiquer au moment de la
commande le type de machine, le numro de fabrication, et les numros et
dsignations des pices conformment la liste.
Ceci facilite lexpdition et garantit une livraison sans erreur.
