Water systems
Potable and Non-potable dual water system: To allow for any local non-
drinking water source to be used for the shower and sink for washing up,
while preserving the other tanks/system for just drinking water. This system
has separate pumps, venting, drainage, tanks, locking water fillers, taps,
and completely separates the systems so they cannot cross contaminate.
This greatly extends your drinking water as the major consumer of water by $ 700.00 $ -
about 98% is the showers and washing up. And so, you can use a local
source of water for your bulk water usage and renew it on a weekly basis if
need be while greatly extending your drinking water and independence in
the bush.
Extra tanks, mounted and plumbed, galvanised sheet metal housing stone
guard individually plumbed to water fillers and pump for isolation of tanks
on a manifold so if one is holed it does not drain all of them. They are also
$ 390.00 $ -
valved on the fill side, so you can elect which ones to fill.
Water tanks in total on caravan 1

Water sterilisation unit with double filtration canisters to .2 micron (sub-

microvirus), in a cleanable reusable filter system, and then through quartz
tube with 2600-2700 angstrom UV The (ultra-violet) sterilization is done
through a quartz tube in a stainless shrouded housing, at 2.5 litres a
minute, with its own dedicated high pressure pump to run the system for no $ 2,500.00 $ -
cross contamination. It is expensive, but solves your water problems…
For those with any health problems, or small children going along, or just
avid fossickers that want to be totally independent....

Appliances (fridge, awnings, air conditioning, heaters etc)

An upgraded refrigerator, such as the 140 or 190 litre Danfoss compressor
driven fridge-freezer unit, that will even make ice in 40 degree weather. It is
just the best available unit, as Danfoss has really no rival in the world, and
is world recognised as #1. It is what the United Nations uses, UNICEF for
vaccines in Africa, the Australian Army, and more.
160L Danfoss fridge $ 1,000.00 $ -
190L Danfoss fridge $ 1,300.00 $ -
220L Danfoss fridge $ 1,500.00 $ -
230L Danfoss fridge (Timber insert) (Upgrade to stainless + $ 100.00) $ 1,990.00 $ -

Air conditioning, we are Dealers for all major brands but only one has
proven itself extremely reliable in the Outback. To us, cost is not as
important as the reliablility of such a major item, so we use the one that $ 2,490.00 $ -
has proven most durable in the bush.
Provision for Air-conditioning, strucure roof framed to carry air unit, run
wire and circuit breakers, insulate, panel over and under. All major work $ 450.00 $ -

Dometic heater diesel forced air heating system with 2 outlets installed. $ 2,580.00 $ -

Power systems (solar, batteries, chargers, inverters)
High grade Japanese solar panels (highest rated by industry standards in
Australia) in various sizes to match your power needs. Our solar systems
are designed to help make you power independent in the bush. Most solar
systems run independantly with two 120 watt panels. Three 120 watt
panels are generally used to run larger refrigeration and freezer systems,
or with an optional extension lead can be used to charge the tow vehicle
batteries with excess solar when the vehicle is not in use. Great for if you
are running an additional fridge/freezer in the tow vehicle.
130 Watt solar panel(s) installed on caravan $ 1,480.00 $ -
60 Watt solar panel(s) installed on caravan $ 750.00 $ -
A Digital Multimeter Regulator, the big ones come with monitoring system
and digital readout with five seconds delay from 1) Battery voltage 2) Array
current (which is solar input). 3) Total load current. It does an automatic 5
second scan of each continuously, plus a full featured automatic regulated
battery charging system and disconnect system, as well as a battery
condition continuous led display. American top gear.
30A digital multimeter regulator $ 570.00 $ -
40A Deluxe digital multimeter regulator $ 610.00 $ -
We have three levels of batteries from the normal Australian deep cycle
batteries up to the higher level maintenance free batteries. We recommend
one of these maintenance free batteries as the best option. The GRT (Gas
recirculation technology) AGM (Absorbed Glass Matt) technology, rapid
charge, long life battery is probably the most cost effective. And then, up to
the high end the German gel-cell solar block which is a ten year design life
higher efficiency battery, but very expensive. We are one of the very rare
groups that actually have the engineering education to design solar and
power systems to suit your needs rather than just sell gear. As an
example, the good middle of the road is the GRT AGL Maintenance free
batteries, that have proven very robust, and is what we most often
recommend as being the best selection for the money.
Upgrade to GRT AGM Maintenance free batteries $ 195.00 $ -
Additional GRT AGM Maintenance free batteries $ 435.00 $ -
Upgrade to German gell-cell battery $ 400.00 $ -
Additional German gell-cell batteries $ 650.00 $ -

Battery charging systems: We offer a fully automatic battery charger as

part of our standard package, but we also offer larger, 50amp dual mode
charger to condense down the charging time and increase battery life. This
is a very good, cost effective upgrade to shorten down the charging time so
you have the convenience of not having to stay somewhere undesireable
$ 700.00 $ -
just to charge batteries. It will shorten the charging time down to a few
hours instead of overnight and half the next day, by getting a full charge in
3-4 hours at a pub, or roadhouse, or resort, or even off a generator. It just
frees you up, when in bad weather, to carry on... Ideal for those with 3 or 4
batteries.

Additional remote viewing panel for the charger which shows charging
current in a LED bar graph, LED readouts for: AC on, Boost on, low
voltage alarm and temperature alarm. The charger is also fully
programmable for all battery types and includes a temperature sensing $ 150.00 $ -
algorithm, which increases charger efficiency to maximum without the risk
of overheating. The temperature sensor also an added safety advantage
as it is mounted in the battery box.
Inverters, we have five sizes, from the cheap synthetic square wave units
to high grade professional sine-wave units as your needs dictate. Some
people want to run computers or satellite down links for the Internet, or
microwaves and TVs. People have different needs and this determines the
size from about $250 up to $2850 for pure sine-wave with automatic
switching to all outlets in the van to 240V power at 1000 watts to run
microwaves and larger equipment. We also include large circuit breaker
safety devices at the batteries, and RCD's on the van.
1500 Watt synthetic square wave inverter $ 1,500.00 $ -
1000 Watt professional sine wave inverter with automatic switching $ 2,450.00 $ -
1200 Watt professional sine wave inverter with automatic switching $ 2,850.00 $ -
1800 Watt professional sine wave inverter with automatic switching $ 2,950.00 $ -

Body, chassis & suspension

prefabricated hatches at $250 to large custom built ones with stainless
recessed coach compartment locks, cabin hooks and switched cargo light,
at $500 and $850
Small Premanufactured Hatch (340H x 290W opening size) $ 250.00 $ -
Large Custom Built Hatch (390H x 540W opening size) $ 500.00 $ -
Extra Large Custom Built Hatch (600H x 540W opening size) $ 850.00 $ -
(Custom sizes can be arranged if needed)

Extended drawbar 300mm in larger profile section 150mm $ 250.00 $ -

1 Tonne larger swing arm Independent Suspension with spring pack for
heavily loaded vans with a lot of equipment (standard on vans 19 foot and $ 650.00 $ -
over)

12” Commercial brakes instead of the industry standard 10” And we do

recommend that on 18’ and up. Some others use the 10”, but we find them
inadequate on vans over 18’. The 12” brakes are not a linear improvement,
it is more than just the 20% of 10-12”, they are a larger rotating mass to $ 500.00 $ -
dissipate heat and so reduce brake fade on the hills. They also outlast the
normal caravan brakes that shake themselves to pieces on the corrugation
of dirt tracks.
