Where you build changes your energy requirements
Cooling Climate
Cooling climates are the warmer regions of Australia in
which the priority is windows and doors capable of keeping
the heat outside the home. In order to achieve this result,
the windows and doors need to have a low SHGC and
low U-values.
Mixed Climate
These climates are the areas that uctuate between hot
and cold and require windows and doors that can help
maintain the energy for winter and deect the heat in the
warmer months. This is best achieved by windows and
doors with low U-values, high SHGCs if facing north but
low SHGCs when facing west and east.
