How to connect a SIP phone via WLAN or LAN, using the proxy
functionality of the SX763.
The internal SX76x SIP -proxy has 6 preconfigured SIP-clients. They are not configurable via the WebGUI. They are preconfigured as *1, *2 ...*6.
*1 and *2 are the FXS1 and FXS2 (internally also SIP accounts)
*2 till *6 are extra "internal" VoIP Clients: Their accounts and password are preconfigured and are :
account=*3 pw=*3 , account *4 pw=*4 etc...
This means that in your IP-phone or WLAN SIP phone , you have to enter e.g *3 as account name and *3
as password....etc
The access codes to call to these clients internally are *1, *2, ....*6
On the web-GUI you can configure 6 accounts (yes , also 6) of the public network(s). So, the SX76x can
register itself on different networks or in your case these are all accounts of the HiQ8000. The parameters
to configure these are under : Telephony...VoIP
The access codes to make calls via these accounts are *01, *02, *03...*06
The access code to make an outgoing call via the FXO is *00 (this is the default direction. So, if you do
not dial an access code and just 003214253599, you will reach me via the PSTN)
This default outgoing routing can be modified in "Telephony...Extensions" (e.g. you can specify for *3 that
as default he will dial out via account x of the HiQ8000. This means for reaching me via PSTN he has to
dial now : *003214253599". If he dials just 3214253599, he will (maybe :-) ) reach me via the HiQ8000.
For incoming calls you can specify on the same page what internal extension should "ring" for what
account or FXO that is dialing in.
Hint to connect a SIP phone via WLAN or LAN, without using the
proxy functionality of the SX763
The SIP ALG functionality must be activated. This is only possible via CLI interface. See description in the
included document:

management\enable-ALG.txt

Eventually the access via SSH is pre configured to not allowed. In this case load the here included
configfile via the web GUI. You have to configure your box for your setup then again.
