1. The ICB Universe Data Service provides four levels of industry classification for each
company contained within the product. The product covers all universe securities classified
by Dow Jones and FTSE. This includes all index components along with the broader uni-
verse coverage and are monitored by both companies on a continuous basis.

2. Data items such as Exchange Codes, Company Name and Country Codes may not
correspond to other Dow Jones Indexes or FTSE products but can be identified by
common security identification codes such as SEDOL’s, CUSIP’s and ISIN’s.
