DROP-IN ANCHOR - 316 SS

Drop-In Anchors have an internal thread for use with metric threaded fasteners (e.g. Hex
Bolts) or Threaded Rod (stud). The anchor is placed into a pre-drilled hole in the concrete.
A Setting Tool is then used to expand the anchor within the hole.

The first plastic plug with European Technical Approval for single point fixings in the
cracked concrete tensile zone.
Available in 316 Stainless Steel, with countersunk and hex washer face options for timber
and metal applications.

FEATURES
Perfect in interaction: the CO-NA-screw and the SXS-sleeve.
High pressure in 4 directions
The optimal allocation of the expansion forces to the surface of the
bore hole is ensured by the expansion in 4 directions. By this in the
cracked tension zone permissible loads up to 1,7 kN axial load have
been reached. The permissible shear load amounts up to 3,0 kN. This
means a maximum of safety even in an appearing crack.
Doesnt spin round

This feature prevents spinning of the sleeve
during installation. While re-expanding it
fixes the sleeve in its position.
Safety due to 3-zone screw: the CO-NA-screw.

Safety zone 1: the expansion area
By means of the innovative geometry of the
thread with distinctive cones the expansion force
increases depending on the external loads.
High flexibility for installation

The CO-NA-screw fits for each application.
It is available with counter sunk head and
hexagon head with washer included.
Safety zone 2: the re-expansion area
Safety zone 3: the shaft
When a crack appears in the concrete the re-expansion

zone with its extra strong shaped cones provides the
active re-expansion of the fischer SXS.
The maximum screw diameter of the

CO-NA-screw is situated exactly in the
position of the bearing point. The cross
section is about 20% higher compared
with the safety screw with 7 mm.

Areas of application FOR THE FISCHER SXS SCREW

Suitable substrate materials:
Concrete, aircrete, solid sand-lime brick, solid brick, solid clinker, solid pumice
brick, hollow pumice blocks, plasterboard, natural stone.
For wooden structures:
Fischer SXS-T with Fischer CO-NA countersunkhead screw.
Attachment of: square beams, wooden laths, strips,
faades and wooden roof constructions.
For metal constructions:

Fischer SXS-F US with flat fixing edge and Fischer CONA screw with hexagon head and integral washer.
For fastening: metal and plastic profiles, door and
window frames, insulants, sheet metal, panelling, etc.
