General Description

Suitable software is required to configure the Busmaster. In the following chapters the procedure is explained by
means of the Step7 software from Siemens.
Before the Brkert systems are configured, the corresponding GSD (download Brkert homepage : GSD directly
or link to cooperation partner) must be imported into the hardware catalog of the Tool.

Definitions of terms 3.2.
gSD (device master data file)
Device master files are required to link PROFIBUS stations to the PROFIBUS master system. These files contain
device-specific information about device functions and configurations.
Step7
Step7 is the current programming software of the Simatic-S7 PLC family from Siemens AG.
eT200s
SIMATIC ET 200S is a decentralized multifunctional peripheral system with an extensive range of modules from
Siemens.
plc (programmable logic controller)
A PLC is a device which is used for open-loop or closed-loop control of a machine or plant and is programmed
on a digital basis.
cpu (central processing unit)
Is the central processing unit of the programmable logic controller.

Installation of the GSD file
inSTallaTiOn Of The gSD file 4.
The procedure is described by means of the Step7 software from Siemens and uses the valve terminal
8644 as an example.
When Step7 has started, as illustrated in Figure 1: , go into the Hardware manager.

Before the installation, close all open projects in the Hardware manager.
In the Options menu select Install GSD File (see Figure 2: ).

folder structure 5.1.
After installing the GSD file (files), you must select the corresponding Brkert version.
In the PROFIBUS DP folder open the Additional Field Devices subfolder (see Figure 3:).

The versions of the Brkert devices can be found in the I/O, Valves and Closed-loop controllers subfolders
(see Figure 4: ).

Select Slave (eT200s) and function modules 5.2.
How the Slave and the function modules are selected is explained below.
The procedure which is described using the valve terminal 8644 as an example with cooperation partner
Siemens (ET200s) is almost identical for other versions.
Select Slave (ET200s) and pull onto the PROFIBUS using drag-and-drop (see Figure 5: ).

Zur Konfiguration des Busmasters ist eine geeignete Software notwendig. In den nachfolgenden Kapiteln wird die
Vorgehensweise anhand der Software Step7 von Siemens erlutert.
Vor der Konfiguration der Brkert Systeme muss die entsprechende GSD (Download Brkert Homepage : direkt
GSD oder Link auf Kooperationspartner) in den Hardware-Katalog des Tools importiert werden.

Gertestammdateien werden zur Anbindung von PROFIBUS-Teilnehmern im PROFIBUS-Mastersystem bentigt.
In diesen Dateien sind gertespezifische Informationen ber Gertefunktionen und Konfigurationen enthalten.
Step7
Step7 ist die aktuelle Programmiersoftware der Simatic-S7-SPS-Familie der Siemens AG.
eT200s
SIMATIC ET 200S ist ein dezentrales Multifunktionales Peripheriesystem mit umfassendem Modulspektrum der
Fa. Siemens.
SpS (Speicherprogrammierbare Steuerung)
Eine SPS ist ein Gert, das zur Steuerung oder Regelung einer Maschine oder Anlage eingesetzt wird und auf
digitaler Basis programmiert wird.
cpu (central processing unit)
Ist die zentrale Recheneinheit der speicherprogrammierbaren Steuerung.

Die Vorgehensweise wird anhand der Software Step7 von Siemens und am Beispiel der Ventilinsel 8644
beschrieben.
Nach dem Start von Step7, wie in Bild 1: dargestellt, in den Hardwaremanager gehen.

Nach der Installation der GSD-Datei (Dateien), mssen Sie die entsprechende Brkert Ausfhrung auswhlen.
Im Ordner PROFIBUS DP den Unterordner Weitere Feldgerte ffnen (siehe Bild 3: ).

Slave (eT200s) und funktionsmodule auswhlen 5.2.
Im folgenden wird erlutert wie der Slave und die Funktionsmodule ausgewhlt werden.
Die Vorgehensweise die am Beispiel der Ventilinsel 8644 mit Kooperationspartner Siemens (ET200s)
beschrieben wird, ist fr andere Ausfhrungen nahezu identisch.
Slave (ET200s) auswhlen und per Drag-and-drop an den PROFIBUS ziehen (siehe Bild 5: ).

La configuration du matre du bus ncessite un logiciel appropri. La procdure suivre l'aide du logiciel Step7
de Siemens est explique dans les chapitres suivants.
Avant de procder la configuration des systmes Brkert, il convient d'importer le GSD correspondant (tl-
chargement de la page d'accueil Brkert : directement ou via un lien avec le partenaire) dans le catalogue de
matriel de l'outil.

Les fichiers GSD sont ncessaires l'intgration de participants PROFIBUS dans le systme matre PROFIBUS.
Ces fichiers contiennent des informations spcifiques l'appareil concernant les fonctions de l'appareil ainsi que
les configurations.
Step7
Step 7 est le logiciel de programmation actuel de la famille Simatic-S7-SPS de Siemens AG.
eT200s
SIMATIC ET 200S est un systme priphrique dcentralis multifonctionnel avec une gamme de modules com-
plte de la socit Siemens.
api (automate programmable industriel)
Un API est un appareil programm sur une base numrique, utilis pour la commande ou la rgulation d'une
machine ou d'une installation.
cpu (unit centrale de traitement)
Il s'agit de l'unit centrale d'une commande programme enregistr.

La procdure suivre est dcrite au moyen du logiciel Step7 de Siemens et de l'exemple de l'lot de
vannes 8644.
Aprs le dmarrage de Step7, comme reprsent dans la Figure 1 : , aller dans le gestionnaire du matriel.

Avant l'installation, fermer tous les projets ouverts dans le gestionnaire de matriel.
Dans le menu Outils slectionner Installer des fichiers GSD (voir Figure 2 : ).

Organisation de la structure de fichiers 5.1.
Aprs l'installation du fichier GSD (fichiers), vous devez slectionner la version Brkert correspondante.
Dans le fichier PROFIBUS DP , ouvrir le sous-fichier Autres appareils de terrain (voir Figure 3 : ).

Vous trouverez les versions des appareils Brkert dans les sous-fichiers I/O , Vannes et Rgulateur (voir
Figure 4 : ).

Slectionner esclave (eT200s) et les modules 5.2.

La slection de l'esclave et des modules fonctionnels est explique ci-aprs.
Pour d'autres versions, la procdure suivre est pour ainsi dire identique celle dcrite en prenant l'lot de
vannes 8644 avec le partenaire Siemens (ET200s) pour exemple.
Slectionner l'esclave (ET200s) et le mettre dans PROFIBUS par Glisser et Dposer (voir Figure 5 : ).

Vous trouverez une slection de modules fonctionnels disponibles dans la rubrique Esclave du catalogue (voir
Figure 6 : ).

Slectionner les modules fonctionnels souhaits de la rubrique Esclave du catalogue (ici ET200s) et les
dplacer par Glisser et Dposer sur l'emplacement de la station esclave (voir Figure 7 : ).

Aprs la slection de tous les modules fonctionnels souhaits, enregistrer la configuration du matriel.
