entertainment company that runs tele'ision stations1 daily newspapers among others. Macys
based on its strength of strong pri'ate brand can capitali/e on emerging mar$et by
ad'ertising to different groups and expand customer base abroad. Macys should use the
strong brand to target the same group of customers as other retail stores1 and use company
inno'ations to expand into worldwide mar$ets to boost re'enues.

Focus on growth of successful merchandise to meet customer needs
Macys should cut out more high priced goods to promote the lower priced goods in stores
instead of carrying all high end brands and bring in more reasonably priced goods for all
consumers as well as de'elop online programs that offer more incenti'es when you shop
online.
