Suitable for all surgical trainees with
an interest in Breast Surgery.
Tutors are all experienced Consultant
Surgeons with 4:1 participant/faculty
ratio.
Maximum of 4 delegates per
cadaver.
The course will provide hands on
experience using fresh/frozen cadaveric
material. The programme will include:
Skin sparing mastectomy
Implant based breast reconstruction (including
device assisted)
Axillary node dissection
Latissimus dorsi flap breast reconstruction
This course will be held in the
state of the art, Clinical
Anatomy Skills Centre (CASC)
which is a joint facility run by
the Royal College of
Physicians and Surgeons of
Glasgow and the University
of Glasgow
