Iana Seales: Freedom to Discriminate?

Iana Seales: The Gay Agenda?

Her disregard for fact, truth, detail and evidence makes her efforts akin to foolishness masquerading as
scholarship!
Iana Seales becomes the latest pawn used in an overt attempt by a complicit media in Guyana to promote gay
rights in Guyana. In the process she retreats to the weary tactic of semantic gibberish!
Not since Alissa Trotz was used and abused by that same media-house have we seen such academic and
intellectual infancy, gullibility and illegitimacy! Should we infer any meaning to the fact that the only two
selectees thus far have been Black, and both obviously and chronically naive?
In a grotesque premonition reminiscent of a near-full-term abortion, Seales third insert in the following week
promises to degenerate into tragi-comedy beyond belief as she runs out of superlatives sufficient to satisfy SNs
monetary commission! The question tormenting her throughout the next few days will obviously be: How can
she regurgitate inane sound-bytes and still get paid?
Where are the facts that she offers us to support her conclusions? A close look will see that there are none, just
an endless spewing of verbiage, bombast and rhetoric! Dr. Jeffrey Satinover recognizes in her avoidance of fact,
truth, detail and evidence a denial so intense that self-examination is entirely precluded
So we respond as before

Dear Editor,
An astonishing disregard for fact, truth, detail and evidence informs commentaries on this issue, and Iana Seales'
Freedom to Discriminate (SN 6/28/14) is no exception.
She repeats the same errors in The Gay Agenda (SN 7 06 14) so our response does not need to change!

Her work, albeit couched in the wonderfully suggestive caption of "the freedom to discriminate" suffers in that
everything she says thereafter suggests that no such freedom exists in her bigoted perspective.

Iana, as far as we know, holds no elected office, but could benefit from the advice of the very liberal Michael
Kirby KC. He offered that the very least that elected officials and legislators could do is to familiarize themselves
with the details of an issue before commenting on it. It is questionable that Iana has exercised due diligence in
this regard.

The fact is that we discriminate regarding things, persons and issues every day of our lives, and more so where
pathologies are involved. As any epidemiologist would confirm, the dangers of accommodating, and interacting
with, pathology from an uninformed perspective has ... consequences. Ras Ashkar in 2008 ( "Those in support of
homosexuality are more interested in their hedonistic agenda than in individual freedom";
http://www.stabroeknews.com/2008/opinion/letters/05/27/those-in-support-of-homosexuality-are-more-
interested-in-their-hedonistic-agenda-than-in-individual-freedom/ ) pointed out the potential consequences of
having sasod use its use its website to "recruit" teenagers to the "gay" lifestyle. In doing so, his communication
to Stabroek News became one of the few letters that can only be viewed via official logon/login/subscription.
Discrimination, anyone?

The glaring deficiency in the arguments posed by the gay-advocate groups is that you cannot treat a pathology
from a "human rights" perspective. It is a concept that a seriously-deficient Iana Seales needs to acknowledge!

Iana should have read Kathleen Melonakos' lucid article "Why isn't homosexuality considered a Disorder on the
Basis of Its Medical Consequences" ( http://www.lifesitenews.com/resources/why-isnt-homosexuality-
considered-a-disorder-on-the-basis-of-its-medical-co ) before writing her piece.

Irrespective of the positioning of her nose, Iana will find that bigotry begins where a disregard for fact, truth,
detail and evidence exists. Iana's OBVIOUS bigotry is therefore seen everywhere in her avoidance of such fact,
truth, detail and evidence. Ad nauseam, we can only refer her yet again to the article by Dr. Charles Socarides
captioned "Sexual Politics and Scientific Logic: The Issue of Homosexuality" (
http://www.kidhistory.org/homopolo.html ).

But will she have the courage to do this?

The trite and ... confusing ... phraseology and verbiage that follows the avoidance of fact, truth, detail and
evidence is evident everywhere in Iana's pieces. How does one come up with "... This cannot be understood
except under the lens of inequality and deeply rooted prejudice..." after one has read the law review "Child
Molestation and the Homosexual Movement?" (
http://www.mega.nu:8080/ampp/baldwin_pedophilia_homosexuality.pdf )? Answer: one has not read or
researched ... anything!

For a definition of "minority", as distinct from "behaviour-based group" Iana should read "Homosexuality is Not
a Civil Right" by Robert Regier and Daniel Garcia (http://www.crrange.com/wall34.html ).
Why do Guyanas Christians ... and law-abiding citizens generally ... HAVE to oppose "gay rights" generally?
The answer lies in the fact that ... homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality and transsexualism (constituting the
"community" that defines the LGBT movement) are the ONLY psycho-sexual disorders or pathologies so
diagnosed that see as their inevitable and non-negotiable ends the destruction of key creation-structures in the
Christian world-view ... manhood, womanhood, sex, family, marriage, fact, truth, detail evidence, logic!
How significant is this?
Simply put, the existence/celebration of the one means the nullification of the other!
So ... just how comfortable are Christians in Guyana with being "told" by Iana Seales what their roles are relative
to their very survival? Perhaps Melanie Phillips' article "How Britain is Turning Christianity into a Crime
(http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-404052/How-Britain-turning-Christianity-crime.html ) will answer
that question.
Sound public policy obviously lies in medical/psychiatric/spiritual treatment, healing, recovery ... and the
eradication of the "LGBT-pathologies" considered by its victims as "essential to their well-being".
Dr. Jeffrey Satinover in "Homosexuality and the Politics of Truth" referred to Seales refusal to attend to the
evidence as "... denial so intense that self-examination is entirely precluded ..."!
Iana needs to be careful that her column does not degenerate into ... wilful bigotry!
She should protect her journalistic career by not selling it short on an altar of "gay rights". She should and must
focus on fact, truth, detail and evidence!

In the process of so doing, she will encounter true intolerance from those she considered friends while writing
this article, and may even lose her column, but will find that they were friends worth losing to protect her
journalistic integrity!
Yours faithfully

PS:
We have posted the following comment to the SN-website with Ms. Seales artcle The Gay Agenda on 7/7/14.
There is no guarantee it will be published
Dear Editor,
This (The Gay Agenda) is a regurgitation of the blather, bombast and rhetoric found in last week's article
"Freedom to Discriminate". If this continues, Iana will have only a small supply of "nothing-phrases" to parrot
next week.
Look carefully ... Iana offers no real evidence, only an opinionated rant that ignores serious public health and
public-policy implications. This is intellectual cowardice at its worst, and ignores the fact that every civilized
society has rules designed for its sustainment and orderly development, much as every religion has its tenets
and principles.
It is undisputed that the Christian world-view has made significant, positive and measurable contributions to
public-policy, law and civilization generally. The "contribution" that the psycho-sexual disorder called
homosexuality has made is found everywhere in the CDC report in September 2010 "CDC Fact Sheet: HIV and
AIDS among Gay and Bisexual Men (http://www.torahdec.org/Downlo... ).
In that fatal report, and despite stunning "freedoms" in Western states, the evidence of the destruction that a
behavior-based, disease-ridden psycho-sexual disorder wreaks on its "willing" and "rights-empowered" hosts is
outlined in 4 damning sentences bout MSM (man who have sex with men):
1. MSM account for nearly half of the more than one million people living with HIV in the U.S. (48%, or an
estimated 532,000 total persons).
2 MSM account for more than half of all new HIV infections in the U.S. each year (53%, or an estimated 28,700
infections).
3. While CDC estimates that MSM account for just 4 percent of the U.S. male population aged 13 and older, the
rate of new HIV diagnoses among MSM in the U.S. is more than 44 times that of other men (range: 522989 per
100,000 MSM vs. 12 per 100,000 other men).
4. MSM are the only risk group in the U.S. in which new HIV infections are increasing. While new infections have
declined among both heterosexuals and injection drug users, the annual number of new HIV infections among
MSM has been steadily increasing since the early 1990s.
These facts would be an inconvenient obstacle for Iana Seales. She is on a mission to put lipstick on a pig,
dressing up "gay rights" the pathology as "human rights", engaging in her own little dream-world while childishly
ignoring the consequences!
As to the Buxton episode, a crime is a crime, and its perpetrators should face the law. This is a simple issue.
What Iana cannot comprehend is that her naivet does not address the public-policy or public-health
implications of psycho-sexual distress, or society's reaction to it. She becomes a classic example of the following
analysis by Dr. Joseph Nicolosi:
" Militant gay advocates working in a small but forceful network have caused apathy and confusion within our
society. They insist that acceptance of the homosexual as a person cannot occur without endorsement of the
homosexual condition. Intellectual circles too--who are self-conscious about sounding intolerant--proclaim
homosexuality as normal, yet it is still not so for the average person for whom it "just doesn't seem right."
Yours faithfully
