Bus Information

ABSTRACT
The application we are developing is about Bus information. It is an android
application used to find out the details of bus number. This application is used to get the bus
details along with the distance between the source and destination and the frequency of buses.
Usually people may not have idea about all the bus timings and bus numbers. Hence this
android application is used to mae easy search. It save a lot of time. This application is very
much useful for people who have no information about buses. !ll this information is
available offline and no internet connection is required. !ll we have to do is to store the
information in database.
This pro"ect is based on the database in which we can store and retrieve all the
information regarding the route numbers and what all we require.
#atabase is a structured format. $o if we store in the database% we can retrieve that
particular information by giving a command directly. There is no process for installing
database for mobile&phone applications. 'henever the database is needed% then only the
database is created through coding.

Existing system with limitations:
In this e(isting system% if we want any information about the buses we can have it all
by "ust one clic retrieve and selecting the source and destination. It is easy and effective
and saves a lot of time. There is no need to as anybody)s help and one can have the info all
by himself. !s it is a database based% we have this information offline and no internet is
required.
Proposed system with features:
The main feature of this system is that it does not require internet and we can have the
information offline as it is based on database. !ll we have to do is to save the information in
the database and can have the info whenever we want. 'e developed the system in such a

*enerally we won)t have any application regarding any information offline. 'e have
to browse for everything. But this application has that fle(ibility to have the information
offline and we even have the fle(ibility to change and delete the information if we feel that it
is not helpful anymore.
