Welcome

Open Day Dates

Choosing a school for your child is a daunting experience and this

booklet, along with our prospectus, will give you a good idea of
what Staines Preparatory School has to offer.

Autumn Term 2013

My belief is that children always do better at things they enjoy, so

we try to make our school days as interesting and varied as we
possibly can. We have the facilities and quality of staff that make
this possible.

Spring Term 2014

Saturday 12th October 10.00am - 12 noon

Wednesday 16th October 9.30 - 11.30am

Saturday 1st February 10.00am - 12 noon

Wednesday 5th February 9.30 - 11.30am

Summer Term 2014

There is discipline of course, but it is achieved through mutual
respect between teachers and pupils. We also invite you, the
parents, to be as involved in your childs education as you wish to
be. Your childs development is a partnership between home and
school in which both parties have a role to play.
Staines Preparatory School is a non-selective school but our
pupils nevertheless achieve high academic results. It is
equally important to build your childs confidence, selfesteem and regard for others so that they become
good young citizens.
I hope you are considering enrolling your child in
our Sunflowers Nursery or in the School itself. I
look forward to welcoming you should you wish to
visit us.

Peter Roberts BSc
