Dear Editor,

I refer to the SN article Gay rights groups urge govt to fire Juan Edghill after anti-gay remarks (SN
16/7/14) and would appreciate the opportunity to comment!
And there, in one fateful news conference, is the reason why every Minister in the Government of
Guyana must now fear for the rule of law, and constitutional freedoms regarding the right to freedom of
expression. It is testimony to this decrepitude in sasod's outlook that the members of the Opposition
will surely be its next targets!

It also proves a general rule. When a mental or psycho-sexual disorder is given the space to consider
itself "normal", it will always, without exception, seek to impose its madness on society!
Legal, political, constitutional and social confusion inevitably follows!
So the challenge for Christians and responsible citizens has always been to bring as much fact, truth,
detail and evidence to bear in these discussions, thereby enabling Guyanese to make responsible and
informed decisions. Importantly, a comprehensive body of outstanding secular research supports the
Christian/Biblical position!

Initially, we had asked the administration to consider the implications for ignoring fact, truth, detail and
evidence in the on-line article "Universal Periodic Report: Open Letter to Guyana's Parliamentarians

Thereafter, we had asked questions of the University of the West Indies in Christopher Carrico,
Collateral Damage, and Britain: Feeding the Beast of Deception on Gay Rights

the-Beast-of-Deception-on-Gay-Rights ). No response was forthcoming!

The Minister happens to be a Christian! Why do Guyanas Christians ... and law-abiding citizens generally
... HAVE to oppose "gay rights" generally?

The answer lies in the fact that ... homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality and transsexualism
(constituting the community" that defines the LGBT movement) are the ONLY psycho-sexual disorders
or pathologies so diagnosed that see as their inevitable and non-negotiable ends the destruction of key
creation-structures in the civilized and Christian world-views ... manhood, womanhood, sex, family,
marriage, fact, truth, detail evidence, logic!

How significant is this?

Simply put, the existence/celebration of the one means the nullification of the other!

Crime within the gay community has been shown to reach astronomical proportions (See, for
example, the Hiding Dirty Laundry section of Dr. Judith Reismans 2002-law review Crafting
Bi/Homosexual Youth ((www.drjudithreisman.com/archives/regent.pdf ). What are the facts for
Guyana? What do the actual Police Reports show?
Iana Seales in her recent articles as "guest columnist" for Stabroek News studiously avoided addressing
the implications of Kathleen Melonakos' article "Why Isn't Homosexuality Considered a Disorder on the
basis of Its Medical Consequences? ( http://www.wf-f.org/Melonakos.html ). The Minister will find
that the refusal of sasod to respond in writing to that indictment will validate the concerns he (the
Minister) will feel after reading Dr. Charles Socarides blistering indictment of the APA in Sexual Politics
and Scientific Logic: The Issue of Homosexuality ( http://www.kidhistory.org/homopolo.html ).

So ... just how comfortable should Christians in Guyana be with being "told" by sasod and sri what their
roles are relative to their very survival and their constitutional freedom to defend their faith and fact,
truth, detail and evidence? Perhaps Melanie Phillips' article "How Britain is Turning Christianity into a
Crime" (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-404052/How-Britain-turning-Christianity-crime.html )
will answer that question.
Then there is the CDC-report for September 2010 HIV and AIDS among Gay and Bisexual Men
(http://www.torahdec.org/Downloads/FastFacts-MSM-FINAL508COMP.pdf ), projecting a 4400%
likelihood for infections in the gay community in spite of medical advances. The behavior-based
pathology is literally killing its victims and supporters a fact suspiciously left out by sasod at its press
conference! This fact alone promises to overwhelm the health resources of small states.
Sound public policy obviously lies in advocating for medical/psychiatric/spiritual treatment, healing,
recovery ... and the general eradication of the "LGBT-pathologies" considered by its victims as "essential
to their well-being" ... not in silencing government ministers, Christians, the Opposition, or otherwise
ignoring fact, truth, detail and evidence!
