Homeschool Art Classes

Class Offerings:
Lower Elementary: Nature through the Seasons
Students will learn basic color theory and the elements of art with projects inspired by the seasons and
nature. Many different forms of art will be explored from drawing, painting, sculpture and more as we
progress throughout the year.
Upper Elementary: Meet the Masters
Older students will also explore the elements of space, shape, form, value, color and line with projects
that take on greater depth and skill level. Students will be introduced to the Great Masters of Art and
receive their own art prints to keep. Drawing, painting, sculpture and more will be explored.
Advanced Art (Middle/Senior High): Art Journaling
This mixed-media experience will include lessons in composition, color and design with journal pages
that feature travels, nature and celebrations of daily life.

Michelle Przeslawski. We have a brand new Art Studio located in our basement we would like you to
come check out on September 5, 2014 during our open house from 4-6pm. Now, please meet The Staff.
Miss Michelle comes
from a family of Art
lovers and has studied
many forms over the
years. She taught art
classes through
Classical Conversations
and 3 years with Art
Scholar.
Currently she is an Art Major at the University
of Toledo, and homeschool mom to 5 great
kids. She hopes to inspire a whole new
generation of art lovers.
Miss Allison is the oldest
of Michelle!s daughters
and currently in her 2nd
year at the UT as an
English Major and Art
Minor. She will be co-
teaching.
Miss Hannah is the 2nd
oldest and a Jr. in high-
school. She loves little
kids and is a sought after
babysitter. She will be a
classroom helper.
2014 Fall Session Art Scholar Policies
Registration: To register, please pay the amount in full $110.00 or the $10.00 supply fee by September 5,
2014 along with the registration form with checks made payable to: Michelle Przeslawski to 2610 Elsie
Ave., Toledo, Ohio 43613. E-mail cmahmhprz@aol.com with any questions.
Fee Information: The tuition for Fall 2014 is $100.00. There is also a $10.00 supply fee per student.
Payments can be made by check, or by credit card through Paypal. If you wish to use the Paypal option,
please let us know so an invoice can be sent. You can pay in full at the beginning of the session or choose
the monthly payment option.
Monthly Payment Option: Register by sending in the $10.00 supply fee per student. $25.00 will be due
on September 12th, October 3th, November 7th and December 5th.
Refund information: Refunds will only be issued for withdrawing students with 2 weeks notice.
Missed Classes: Art Scholar does not provide refunds for missed classes unless class is canceled by us.
Materials: All materials are included in the price of the art classes.
Loss: Each student is responsible for their own items. We are not responsible for personal possessions.
Drop-off and Pick-up: Parents/Guardians are asked to arrive within 10 minutes before or after class.
Please enter through the side door (there will be a sign). There will be a $5 fee for every 20 minutes that
the student is late in being picked up. Please call if you will be late. 567-686-8301. Parents (only) are
welcome to drop in anytime to observe our classes; however, there is no additional seating. It is necessary
that our class has order and quiet, so we ask if you do stop in to please avoid talking or distracting the
class in any way.
Media: Photographs may be taken of your student to be used on our Facebook page. If you do not wish to
have your child!s photograph used, please opt out on your registration form.
