Knowledge and Skills
Installing and Configuring Microsoft Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server
2003. My core skill set includes installing and configuring core server roles such as DHCP, DNS, Internet
Information Services, Network Address Translation, Routing and Remote Services, and File and Print Services. I
have experience in administering Windows Server operating systems in an enterprise environment. I am also
familiar with the Cisco IOS and the setup and configuration of Cisco routers and switches. I have provisioned and
assigned Cisco IP phones through the use of Cisco Call Manager and Cisco Unity. I have monitored and given
reports through the of the Barracuda Firewall application with respect to bandwidth and general internet usage by
end-users. During an extended building power outage, I worked with another information technology employee
to safely bring down our datacenter server infrastructure and brought it back up when power was restored.

Some of my other skills include programming in the Java programming language. I have practical experience in
the setup of small office WLANs, including the surveying and mapping of WLAN access points and choosing
appropriate WLAN technologies. I have experience in running and setting up Category 5E and Category 6 network
lines for the deployment of new computer desktops in the field office locations. I have configured and set up new
end-user email boxes using the Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 Web interface. I have also properly
decommissioned end-user mailboxes for archival purposes. Other learning and experience includes information
technology project management and background knowledge in IP Telephony and Disaster Recovery and Failover
Operations. I have experience with VMWare ESXi virtual server technology and Barracuda Cloud Backup
applications. I am also familiar with Microwave technologies with respect to Wide Area Network (WAN)
applications. I also familiar with Server Clustering and Storage Area Network (SAN) technology.

Worked as the Computer Operations Manager.
